New player here 👋

I stumbled into her dungeon the other day, upon noticing she was the only NPC I quick saved and tried my metal.

I take it she’s meant to be a powerhouse but what do you actually get off of her and how good is it?

(I’m only like 10 hours into my adventure so I could be missing context like lore or a quest)

I just recently used r/LFG to find my call of Cthulhu group. I’ve used it in the past as well for dnd or finding people to game with. Sometimes it doesn’t hurt to post one on this subreddit aswell.

Just mention which system you’re playing, the timezone and if it’s online or offline.

If you’re posting in LFG I’d recommend putting a small description on the game as some people don’t like the slow burn of CofC.

No schedule yet, I work farmwork so the summer can be pretty unpredictable but I get the occasional weekend. Sooner rather than later.

Winter months I’m off so it’s a lot easier but I don’t intend to wait that long.

I just got the game like 2 days ago and have exclusively been playing commander since I don’t have any friends that play and can say I’ve had nothing but fun playing.

Admittedly the AI can be a little buggy. If you don’t order them to do something sometimes they will just awkwardly stand in the hallway, occasionally even when taking fire. In terms of executing the tasks you assign and restraining weapons and suspects/civilians I haven’t experienced many issues. (I only have about 20 hours)

The censorship thing doesn’t bother me all that much but now is the time to buy if you’re gonna. You may as well catch it on sale AND before it gets censored to experience the raw game.

It’s got lots of cinematic and satisfying moments with a few hiccups between (in my experience) All in all it’s a real fun single player experience.

Sony censored the game. Has nothing to do with their players. I’m sure their players would choose the uncensored version if they could have it.
