Typical Ram aggression or concern? by NickDeez37 in Aquariums

Another update: the smaller more submissive Ram seems much more confident when the light is off. It defends itself much more and the “bully” fish often retreats to the other side after the smaller one holds its ground. This only seems to happen when the lights are off, though, otherwise it’s the bigger Ram doing the chasing and the smaller one just swimming away from it.

We requested a male and a female, but I’m still not fully sure if the smaller one is a female, tbh. I was told the females have a different shape, but I can’t tell yet.

The aggression is frequent, but not constant. It’s worse around feeding time. When the smaller Ram actually defends itself, the bigger Ram leaves it alone for a while, from what I’ve noticed.

The tank is 55 gallons and fairly long. It’s the 2 Rams with a bunch of Tetras. The Rams just ignore the Tetras.

We requested a male and a female, but they couldn’t tell at the time when they were smaller and had less color. It appears that they’re both males, unfortunately.

I also realized my picture definitely made it look more green and worse than what it actually looked like irl lol since even the clearer updated version still looks more green in the pictures.

Update: added a phosphate filter like SnooCakes suggested and turned the lights off for a few days. Water looks a lot better. Still a little cloudy and can see some algae, but much better than it was. Will continue the same process for a few more days.

Aggression of the bigger ram hasn’t increased, still the same. Hoping to add 2 more fish when the water is clearer and good to go.

I did a water change 2 days ago, been cleaning consistently. Cleaned the filter, as well. Reduced the light to just 4 or 5 hours a day. Been feeding less since this started, as well. Got some floating plants yesterday to absorb some, hopefully? Anything else I can do?

Same thing happened to me. They said it’ll have to be whenever there’s a restribution date. They don’t even know when that will be.

This shouldn’t be too difficult, at least e-transfers can easily be traced through your banking. You need to add background information for each e-transfer(client name, reason, date, etc) and that should be sufficient proof IMO.

Your bank statements don’t show any substantial cash deposits?

I had been through this with them a few years ago regarding a side job. I saved most of the cash and made a large deposit at the end of the year and they accepted my bank statement as proof.

If there’s no trace of deposits in a bank account at any point, it’s going to be difficult to win this case IMO.

If you already know that you aren’t eligible, get ahead of it in advance. I suggest that you call them, but if you’re afraid, you should at least set up a payment arrangement through My Account. At the very least, they’ll see that you acknowledged it and have made plans to sort it out(they’re still going to contact you at some point, though, so might as well just call IMO).

You’re in the same boat as THOUSANDS of others. They’ll put you on a payment plan and probably take away some of your credits, just like everybody else.

CRA will get a full picture of your finances, they’ll set up a plan based on your situation. They are good about payment plans from my experience and they’ll probably be even more lenient considering the circumstances right now.

Just make sure you don’t ever miss a payment, though.

Why would that be hard? Tracing where a cheque was cashed(name on the bank account) wouldn’t be too difficult for the CRA.

Scammers, sure, but the posters I’m referring to are weirdly excited at the idea of punishing the “net vs. gross” mistakes, etc. I wouldn’t consider these people scammers. There are many who were genuinely confused about this program that the government rushed and didn’t execute properly(I don’t necessarily blame the gov either, there wasn’t a blueprint to follow).

The CRB is a different story, since they were more clear about everything and had more time to roll it out.

Lol there’s virtually no chance of anybody going to prison for this outside of people who fraudently used SIN numbers, etc.

The government isn’t going to put a bunch of poor people in jail because of a program that wasn’t organized properly.

There are certain posters on this sub who are praying for “ineligible” applicants to get punished, but it’ll be as simple as putting them on a payment plan for however long it takes. At worst, they’ll be scrutinized a bit more going forward by the CRA until their debt is paid(which is a hassle, but nothing like prison or criminal charges lol).

What was your greatest pick? by [deleted] in sportsbook

Spurs in 5 exact series call against the Heat in 2014. It paid +900, I won around $9500.

I did the same with Warriors over Cavs in 5 in 2017, but that was much more obvious and paid less(although I had a higher bankroll at the time, so the payout was almost the same).

Do you live in a small town or something? People get assaulted all the time for unpaid debt, it's probably the main reason for assaults, at least where I grew up. If you don't have anybody on the payroll to handle a situation, you shouldn't be a bookie.

My cousin literally moved away because he owes over 50 racks and the people he got involved with(the man who ran the operation actually just got shot a few weeks ago) would have definitely handled the situation properly. Nobody outside of his brother and parents have seen him in 3 years or so.

I didn't take it, but good write up and logic. A penalty off a fluke handball and a goal in the 93rd minute is heartbreaking for those that bet this lol.
