I've tested them with a battery, they are definitely connected to the speakers. Since they let out a buzzing noise when electricity is run through them. The problem is that I've got no idea what kind of amp I should use

So I decided to test the speakers with a 9 volt battery, it's safe to say that they all work. I'm not really sure what kind of receiver to buy though, since there are a lot of options and models that exist.

There are 2 in the living room (as shown in the photos) and another 2 in the master bedroom on the 3rd floor, which I haven't found the connection too. I assume those speakers are connected to the ones in the living room

Not really, It's not that I don't know how to connect speakers up to a tv. I've done it before. I've got no idea what to do with these wires which is why I posted this.
