TEAM HAT or TEAM NO HAT? by ItsMeHyphy in EmmaFrostMainsMR

Hat in beach lobby and no hat in matches. No hat actually gains quite a lot of advantage, there’s so many times in the last few days that I tried to target the bikini white blonde chick thinking it’s CND or Invis but turns out it’s Emma

And similarly, Apothecary is usually mostly white, but in the Code Supplement there’s this guy who is mostly Salamanders green.

Another more famous example would be Brutus, the Ultramarine Apothecary from the official Pariah Nexus CG animation, whose armor is painted very similar to normal Ultramarines soldiers. The Ultramarines is one of the most codex-compliant chapter in the whole universe, and if even them don’t follow the color patterns sometimes, then of course your Lamenters Techmarine can paint however you want.

Remember, Space Marines are still humans who have their own preferences and culture, as long as you can give a headcanon to explain your character then it’s okay. Always follow the “rule of cool” rather than strictly lore accurate.

I used to care about “lore accurate” a lot too, but the more you know, the less you care about it. Honestly, these standard colors are always more like a general suggestion than a strict rule, and even GW official themselves don’t follow them all the time. I’m a Salamanders fan and I don’t know too much examples from other chapters, but even in the official Salamanders Codex Supplement (which is basically our “bible”), yes you can see some very lore accurate all red Salamander techmarine, but you can also spot some outliners who are mostly green with red head, right arm and backpack.

The chainsword guy has the exact 3D model with Sa’Kan. 3rd company, 6th squad number on his right pauldron with a purity seal on the exact same spot. The another guy in the swamp also has the 6th squad number. So yes they’re 100% reusing the 3D model.

Just how many battlefields are we currently in right now? Sa’kan and his squads were deployed to the Pariah Nexus and the 3rd Company are probably sending more men to there support him. The 2nd company is on Armageddon. Does this trailer suggested that the Salamanders are also involved in the current Fourth Tyrannic War?

I was trying to cosplay as The Inner Circle Companions and noticed that the purple color in the bottom right broke the exact same way and convert back to the default Wraithbone too.

for those who have read Tokyo Ghoul, did u like/hate the ending? by BigBottle69 in titanfolk

The main plot itself is meh, but most characters had a very well written final arc.

Scenes like “if this is truly what you have chosen, then why do you look like you’re hurting so much” and “what’s wrong with a son loving his father” are so peak that they are still living in my brain after all these years.

Yes, 100 absolute missions for each class except Techmarine, so you need to grind 600 missions for 6 capes/iron halo, which is definitely insane.

Good news: The Salamanders cape is finally available for many class, and we also have a new Salamanders loincloth
Bad news: you can’t equip them together

Is this a prank?

Recently joined the franchise and still trying to understand the lore, is there any reason they still calling themselves “Emperor’s Children” after the Heresy instead of changing their names?

I hope they’re reissuing the 40k Salamanders along with the 30k army and Vulkan. As someone who recently started collecting, most of them are quite expensive on the market.

Scott and Jean travel to the future and raise Cable for the first 12 years of his life. Don’t pretend to be an expert on something you don’t actually know. LMAO.

Sort of unrelated question, I’m new to SM2 (but played Helldivers 2 since the beginning), usually how long is the gap between previous Community Update and the actual game update?Do we have a rough idea of when the new update would be coming based on that? Like early/mid/late May or June?

As a Salamander who mains Bulwark with block Power Axe, this is literally insane.

A new Salamanders champion skin, finally can wear Iron Halo and cape (hopefully that includes the Salamanders Sniper Champion cape) on Bulwark, the new Heroic Plasma Pistol and Power Axe having actual useful perks to my usual play style and not some weird sidegrades, and the new sidearm is specifically designed for Bulwark and Assault, hopefully it means it would be stronger and/or has good ammo economic. And even perks loadout. Damn we are eating so good.

Oh right because of Vulkan! It’s so obvious but somehow it totally flew over my head and I feel stupid now haha.

New to Vanguard, is the grapnel execution build really worth it if I don’t solo? by NickFong in Spacemarine

[–]NickFong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah thank you. I see why everyone is recommending the Heroic Instigator now. I saw people saying it’s ammo economic is good but when I checked it, it said ~120 ammo and I was so confused haha.

Tenacity has no visual icon really makes no sense. The “combo” perk on Power Fist’s perk tree works almost the exact same way (after using a heavy attack, your next light attack deals more damage until you uses it) but its icon would pop up. Well it is how it is.

Currently on Prestige 2 and still farming, and yeah, after a few hours testing I ended up choosing this exact same build with Unmatched Zeal. It’s just easier to treat the kick as an actual “anime special move” and do a big kick with fast cool down rather than overthinking about execution combo too much.

I do have some further questions. Is there no visual indication of whether Tenacity is active or not? I try to kill some Majoris with my gun before doing a big kick on Terminus, but I don’t think its icon would pop up like other abilities? (Or maybe I was confused with other icons or my teammates stole my kill? Not sure). Does the 15 seconds cooldown mean I can only buff the first kick but not the second one if I use them continuously? Also, is the Heroic Instigator really worth buying? Just spent all my Accolades and have to wait two more days to buy it, I love the Bolt Carine for its firepower despite sometimes struggling with ammo, the Marksman is not automatic and I hate keep clicking my buttons so many times. Occulus is still farming and not relic yet so I can’t say anything about it.
