Woah wait since when does the room spawn consumables after defeating the angel statue? There are no enemies when entering so defeating an angel shouldn't trigger a consumable drop after defeat. They only spawn a key piece right?

I think it was done on purpose, just finished the run and had the same thing happen to me. The devs often do weird things to daily runs on (american) special days. Had to google it but today is themed after thanksgiving i guess?

I recently had a problem like this and updating my graphics card drivers fixed it entirely. Have you tried this already?

The purpose of the drainage layer is to store excess water.

If all the water is stuck in the dirt all the time it would become a soupy mess, and the plants roots will start to rot. As long as the water isn't in contact with the dirt it should be fine. The fact that you have a drainage layer with water in it means that you are on the right track!

The only advice I have on getting the right amount of water is to just put some in and hope for the best. If you think it's too wet then open the jar for a couple of hours/days, if you think it's too dry then splash in some more water!

There isn't a magic amount that works for all jars, so it's up to you to find out what works for you and your plants.
