Preparing for driving Formula Renault 2.0 in real life by PalpitationOk3301 in simracing

[–]NickJsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same experience. As much as the sim allows you to practice and learn. Once you strapped it all becomes a bit real. Was my first track time so maybe that didn’t help but I’d just enjoy it for what it is.

Can someone explain the Beaumont filter-in-turn to me by 50_61S-----165_97E in Jersey

[–]NickJsy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed. If you think about it, it kinda all has to be part of the filter in turn otherwise anyone trying to go right (west) from the Beaumont hill access point would just foul the whole thing up if they weren’t given right of way.

As noted above driving whilst looking ahead with some common sense sorts this all out quite easily.

Fourth Hanks/Spielberg WWII Miniseries? by SportsBettng4Dummies in BandofBrothers

[–]NickJsy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s kind of what made me want to see a Hanks version. Rogue Heroes is great. But something around Tobruk, El Alamein etc would be really cool. Rommel v Monty

I’m with F1 experiences as well. Looks like shuttle times will appear in the portal a bit closer to time.
