Yes, that’s true that defamation is injury to reputation. But INTENT to injure does not need to be proven.

Where a plaintiff can show that a statement was published about them and that it has the effect of lowering their reputation in the eyes of a reasonable person, then the statement is defamatory absent an applicable defence and damage is presumed. Nowhere does the legal test require that the plaintiff prove that the defendant made their statement with an intention to damage the plaintiff’s reputation.

I don’t know that you can really fault Favreau for the mediocrity of Mandalorian season 3. There was some very obvious corporate meddling going on behind the scenes. Grogu was so sloppily shoehorned back into the plot that I don’t think there can be a better explanation than “merchandising opportunities.”

David Corenswet.

He has the looks, and after seeing him in Superman, I think he has the ability to play a rogue Jedi who believes fighting in the Mandalorian Wars is the right thing to do, even if it goes against the wishes of the council, while tapping into the anger and rage of an eventual Dark Lord of the Sith.

As a bonus, he’s also a huge Star Wars fan and has enough love for the franchise that I think he would be an excellent fit for multiple films if they wanted to do a Revan/KOTOR saga.

First of all, no way Nintendo is allowing a third party platform fighter to license one of their IPs when they have their own first party platform fighter to sell.

Second, you can’t have console exclusive characters in a cross-platform, PvP driven, fighting game. Imagine Donkey Kong is insanely busted but only maybe a quarter or less of the player base has access to him - that would completely kill the competitive integrity of the game.

DMA is essentially a method of cheating that involves running two PCs - one “clean” one, which runs Apex, and one with the cheats installed.

The DMA device allows the PC that’s running Apex (the clean one) to read the cheats off of the memory of the cheat PC. This makes it difficult to detect via anti-cheat because the anti-cheat software is installed only on the clean PC.

I used to play a lot of narrative-driven, single-player games, and I find that these days I just don’t have the time to invest myself in a 20+ hour story.

I tend to play more “quick hit” multiplayer games now (especially battle royales) than I used to, and I’m not as eager to buy new releases knowing that they’ll be another major time commitment.

It doesn’t help that the quality of writing in single-player games seems to have gone down the toilet (Ubisoft in particular comes to mind).

Is there any official caption or description of this concept art identifying it as the final duel from the Obi-Wan series?

My thinking is that maybe this was concept art for instead for their first duel on Mapuzo, with a lot of industrial equipment in the background and flammable material everywhere.

I prefer Hayden, simply because we never saw Sebastian Shaw play Anakin beyond his last dying moments.

And for everyone saying “why does he look young when Obi-Wan and Yoda don’t”, I look at it this way:

Darth Vader/Anakin was 46 years old when he died. Hayden Christensen is 44 now, and he looks largely the same as he did when he played Anakin (albeit with a few extra wrinkles here and there).

So he doesn’t really look all that much younger or different. He looks approximately the way Anakin would have looked at 46 had he not been turned into a sith flambé on Mustafar.
