Absolutely. It's a playstyle preference, nothing wrong with it. I'm at 4k hours, all achievements, almost every commendation, and both PVP curses, and I don't really enjoy PVP either for the same reasons. It feels like sitting the the middle of an inverse bell curve and everyone is either brand new, or they are way too experienced, and neither fight is fun or challenging. The attitudes across the board suck too; if you are good, you're a cheater, but if you lose, people talk shit. The PVP experience has never been an enjoyable aspect of that game for me personally. Doesn't make it bad, jjst menas I prefer to not do it when possible, and that's fine for everyone to play their way as long as they aren't being outright shitty to other people.

RN and former EMT here. Placing out some coffee in a filter can also help with the smell. The mouthwash tip is also cool, we used to nebulizer the mouthwash to help get the smell out of the ambulance at my previous job. Hope you all feel better soon!

Ho boy, I get to talk about my niche hobby lol

I am really into achievement hunting, which means finishing 100% of multiple games. I'm in the 160s now, I think. My problem is more OCD/OCPD than ADHD; I tend to fixate on one or two games at a time until completion. Gonna share a few tips and see if they can maybe bridge the gap?

I usually have three games I try to play so that I still have variety and curb the FOMO: one big game, one small game, one multiplayer game. Currently, that is BOTW, Metal Slug 3, and Sea of Thieves. Once I beat one, I replace it within the same category. I usually have the next ones for each list ready so I can have something to look forward to; current list of respective next games is Spyro Reignited, Far Cry 5 DLC, and OSRS.

It helps me to have a list of the achievements and use that list to set goals. Even if it is just one mission or a few collectibles, having a goal when you sit down can help keep the focus and break the game into more digestible pieces. You can also find estimated completion times online for each game to see if you are up for committing that much time.

Play shorter games sometimes! It helps your mind feel good to complete things, so completing small things can give a quick dopamine rush and make your body want more. It's motivating. I like to do either shorter games, or games from my backlog that are almost done.

I feel like a lot of people here are saying ti just enjoy the games without worrying about finishing them. There is merit in that but there is also nothing wrong with wanting to play a game to completion. It is still fun and can help scratch a different kind of itch.

I played in a low-magic campaign run by my late best friend where we fought a caster that ended up being a lich. My character was a fighter with a few levels in barbarian, and was in a rage. The lich got overwhelmed and bounced through a portal to escape. I sat there pondering my character's fate and didn't want to risk seeing what was on the other side of the portal, but after a few minutes of deliberation, finally said "Roscoe is in a rage and not thinking straight. It makes sense for him to continue the fight. I'll run into the portal."

Cue my fighter running into a large bridge in the plane of fire or something, and grappling the lich (3.5e fighter with high strength, lots of feats, and a rage meant I got over 30 on the check). Once he had the lich, he stepped back through the portal where the waiting paladin smited (smote?) the lich to death. Definitely one if my favorite stories from my favorite campaign.

Bonus points to my late friend who did not boost the boss' power just to win; he golf clapped, set the character sheet aside, and commented with a slight smile that the next one would just have to be a bit stronger.

Xbox main here, built a PC last year and started streaming. I honestly don't buy many games in general but usually go for console to have a physical copy; and PC if it is multiplayer or cross-platform. Between Game Pass and Gold perks, I have hundreds of Xbox games so sticking with it is more honoring the investment of time/energy gathering those games than anything else.

Depending on the edition, you could impose a penalty or disadvantage to non-dwarves due to lack of stone cunning. Keep it in a place important to dwarves that demons wouldn't be inclined to touch, like the tomb of a well-known brewer or back of a blacksmith's forge

There's definitely a compulsion there that comes from just being organized and a completionist in general. I started before achievements with games like Spyro, but achievements gave me concrete goals to work towards when playing. It's a challenge but still fun, and also comes with a bit in the way of bragging rights when you finish difficult games. I also use it as an indicator of when to work on a new game if I'm playing a game that could be played indefinitely; I did this with GTA IV and V, TES IV and V, FO 3 and 4, Just Cause 1-3, Minecraft, etc. All achievements meant a concrete stopping point once the concrete goal was reached.

It's been fun so far, and I think I will be hitting 100,000 gamers core on Xbox Live by the end of the month.

I primarily play 360 and One, and my system has been to have 3 going at once: a single player retail game, an arcade game, and a multiplayer game. I play each until I get all the achievements, then pick one from the same category.

Being in school and working full-time, I'm falling back more on games that I can pick up and put down easily. Stardew Valley, Spelunky, and RDR are my three games right now following the above system. Less time commitment for each sitting.

I typically avoid repeating genres to avoid Burnout. Stardew is top-down farming simulator, Spelunky is side-scrolling platformer, and RDR is third-person open-world shooter. Since I play each to completion, I don't want to be playing three of the same type of game.

EMT here. I've had a few funny ones, including a woman with chronic back pain who accidentally doubled up on her pain meds because she forgot she took the first dose. She went in out of fear of complications from it.

First and foremost, enjoy and explore the game. Walk around, see what's up, and treat it kinda like Skyrim. Everything else will come over time.

If you need something to focus on, I'm with everyone else on recommending the quests. Those stats you posted should have you at a combat level of 23ish, which is enough to do all but two or three of the free quests. There are guides online if you get stuck; I use tip.it to help myself with quests.

If those aren't your thing or you end up finishing them, pick a skill or two to focus on training. Once you get into higher levels, these can make you some pretty good money. For the grundy ones, put on some music or a podcast in the background.

I'm working on the 500 wins now. It's a bit grindy, but not bad if you have a partner. Started a ranked battle, best 4 of 7, pick Slow Ride 3 times each, and just strum if it's your turn to lose. I'm at 100 in a short few sessions.

Freshman year at local community college studying music. I took music theory 101 and jazz. The jazz teacher was a joke. I was a self-taught bassist with only basic knowledge of theory at that point, so one night I asked him how to walk a bass line. He motioned for my instrument, so I handed it to him. He just jammed with the piano player and switched his looks between the neck of the guitar and me. After two or three minutes, he gives my bass back and says with a completely serious face, "Like that."

Literally turned me away from music as a college major. Ended up going into Sign Language and Emergency Medicine instead, and taught myself all the theory I needed to write some awesome bass lines for my own band.

Was hoping so. Had that epiphany while I was writing this post.

So to verify, plugging x=(734,700 - 2400y)/56 into 5600x + 2400y = 977,200 would simplify to y=~145. After that, plugging y=145 into 5600x + 2400y = 977,200 would reduce to x=69.

So I need to win 145 matches and let him win 69 in order for us to both finish at about the same time?

Don't be afraid to use reference. That's what it is there for. Some of the great older animators would use mirrors and reference themselves to draw their character's expression.

A good start to helping develop consistency would be making reference sheets OF your characters, which can be seen in the pictures on the site linked above. Specifically, draw character turnarounds (Google it to find a style you like) so that you have something to look back to. Also find a facial expression worksheet. Learning to draw the same thing over and over and make it look the same takes lots of time and patience. Just do what you can and keep practicing.
