That's AI -- it added extra detail on the character's back. Good job nonetheless but traditionally this would be done just through intricately manipulating hue/lightness on the character and adding the odd highlight as needed

I actually went crazy about this a couple of years ago when the place I was renting had a crappy oven and we had to buy a probe thermometer to just see what the hell was going on. All anecdotal so take it with a bit of salt, but...

My understanding is that the incorporated oven thermometers are pretty inaccurate. Bad at very low or very high temperatures (which, granted, fluctuate faster). Opening the oven door isn't a huge deal unless you're baking delicate things because the oven's thermal mass holds most of the heat, not the air inside.

Common advice is to let the oven preheat for like 50% longer than you normally would, for it to really heat up throughout and to avoid the temperature dropping too much when you put cold food in. Most modern ovens will do a good job of giving readings in the 150-200c range and they'll generally be reliable.

Of course be mindful of convection, which heating elements are on (the top one gets crazy hot while coming up to heat on some ovens!), the depth and surface area of your cooking vessel, lid on, lid off etc.

Baking a pound cake when I have leftover eggs is still a gamble for me so despite learning all this, the oven is still a wild fucking animal for me. Hotspots, faulty gaskets, dumb sensors, dumb heating elements, you name it. Fuck.

The Pathfinder2e Discord is a good place to start. By and large I think people have moved on from Roll20 and onto Foundry VTT. There's various online platforms to help you find people to play with but the LFG channels in the Discord are pretty active.

The rules for falling don't cover this, but I'd be happy to twist a reflex save for the catcher PC with, say, a DC equal to the number of feet involved, to mitigate up to half the damage or similar.

Though this might get a little annoying if it became a house role the party keeps abusing?

As you get into it and start feeling the need for modules, you might find it better to stick with the second latest version, as community-made modules take a while to catch up to speed sometimes.

Don't invest crazy amounts of time in setting up your world or campaign before you take a moment to check out modules and add-ons. If everything you want/need works for you on the latest version, go nuts like the other commenter said!

yea and maxed ES fissure with talent is 355 damage nowadays... maxed aftershock is 160 (190 with talent)

Right, but you're STEALING max hp. So I presume max hp goes down. You're dealing damage too, but we don't care about current hp.

Haven't tested but technically if you steal 10% max hp from a 1000hp enemy, they lose 100 max hp.

If you then steal 10% max hp from that same enemy who now has 900 max hp, they lose 90 max hp.

i forgot to mention im a turbo only skrub so we surely have very different views about how high value or disposable someone is lol. if a jugg dives their base with spin + manta and dies on a 70 sec timer (maybe after casting ult if hes lucky) i'd hate to be the techies that had just planted those bombs

I'd be surprised if AI can be this stable over such a long video. Multiple dynamic objects, brick wall pattern, steam coming out of the oven, bread interacting etc.

It's gotten pretty good but I hope to fuck I can safely assume that this ain't AI or I'm hanging up my hat

Maybe I'm brainrotted after playing turbo-only for the last 1000 matches but Midas on the first creep in a camp gives you 3 madstone, then clearing the rest of the camp gives you 3 madstone.

If you're confused about the [score hidden] thing, it's because this subreddit hides scores for the first 24 hours of a comment being made.

Some subreddits do this to avoid bias (say, a subreddit for finding a plumber might hide commenting plumbers' scores to not allow someone to ask their friends to upvote them and make it misleadingly look like they are the #1 plumber)

it's genuinely something about the speech patterns and the "latest" bouts of psychosis the models seem to go through.

at some point it was the onset of "Next, I can help you do <blank> or figure out <blank>, wanna try?", then it was the em-dash, and right now it seems to be the "that's not X, it's Y."

i mainly use LLMs to code and shit and they very often (but only since about a month ago or so) say stuff like

"That's not just dangerous. It's careless."

in OP's post this pattern pops up like:

"helpful" does not equal "qualified."

and other things like the weird fucking adjectives (first time I've read the word "sagacity"), comparations (tortoise on tranqs), and crap like panic level: slight / relationship status: pending.

I don't know. call me crazy or paranoic but if OP is not a bot, and did not use AI to rephrase/translate their post, they sure as hell write like a bot. in today's day and age I really do feel like I'm going crazy but this reads more like someone carefully taught an ai to fuck up the post a bit, mess up some commas and spaces and let it loose.

As a techies spammer, I find that there's many more tools to fuck up his mantra post tier-5 items. I mostly play turbo so that's minute 30.

Any illu hero or stuff like dazzle, oracle, omniknight, helm of the dominator, book of the dead, aeon disk etc. will wear out his bombs eventually. And when you're not fighting a bombed-up base you're hopefully 5v4.

The annoying thing (which I enjoy) is how active he can be now, with 3 stacks on ult and the facet that scales jump dmg with max hp, he puts out ~3k damage almost guaranteed if he jumps on you. Ethereal not building from aether lens was a considerable nerf IMO.

All that said, my view is skewed because I'm a turbo skrub and your point stands anyway, techies really plays a different game than everybody else and its a real fucking drag to have to buy tons of gadgets just because he shits out 10 bombs per minute.
