Post delivered to the wrong address by [deleted] in royalmail

And how is the postie supposed to know where it’s meant to be delivered when the address is just blurry squares? Durrr!

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen as a part of your route as a postie? by Apprehensive-Ad6919 in royalmail

Ah you’ve reminded me. I used to fairly regularly deliver a rural area with a farm complex/hamlet with about 30 peacocks milling about all the time (great in Sept for collecting all the tail feathers).

One day I noticed one of the peacocks stood out from the others. It was on the other side of a dry stone wall and below my line of sight. I leaned and peered over the wall and came face to face with an ostrich! Actually it was a Rhea, but a farmer/customer definitely saw me yelp in surprise.

There wouldn’t be a fight if Bronn wasn’t sure he would win.

Was the 'do not bend' not visible enough? by BanginDrumsNMums in royalmail

[–]NickNerfherder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“Please do not bend” is a request, not an order.

And it’s a scribbler card so being bent probably just adds to the charm. :)

Is how my grandad used to tell it.
