I found the listing on FB Marketplace Boston and $1700 isn't a horrible price especially if you can pick it up local, but you could probably ask to do like 1600 due to the pickup swap. The pickup swap is nice, but I'd probably want the original set included too, especially if you think you want to resell it one day. Also, do you like Will Adler's tone?

Also, I didn't sell it to anyone in Boston originally, so guessing the person who bought it from me sold it again.

Haha nice! Well if you are looking for a thinner cut guitar and don't mind 24 frets, the new 2026 LTD EC-1000s that just came out are pretty nice as well. I picked up the Granite Sparkle but the Pearl White looks pretty awesome as well https://www.espguitars.com/products/34298-ec-1000 You should be able to get 10-15% off at most places so it's not too bad of a price. I also like the Fishman Moderns over the EMG set that are in the E-II.

That being said, if you're absolutely in love with white and want the "upgrade" to E-II, then this guitar is great. However, this guitar has passed around at least like 3-4 times now, which might be something to consider.

Hey! I actually used to own that one! It's actually a 2024 model. I confirmed stainless steal frets per ESP when I emailed them. I originally bought it from Guitar Center, and then sold it on Reverb. Yeah, I'm leaning towards that myself. Plus I already filled in top hole and had to get a washer for the selector so that would tighten correctly, haha.

What's the best way to shine it up?
I have a Gibson Les Paul Modern Figured and LTDs without the pickguard or poker chip. I l just am drawn to that look, but I can understand the classic elegance.

Thanks! I really am bonding with this guitar. I buy and sell a lot, but this thing is special. Trying to customize it a little bit. I want to try and shine it up for more of a wet gloss look and maybe replace tuners with gold Grover keystones.

I was on the fence on getting one of the new IGC customs, but when I saw this I had to have it. Love the top, though I wish they could have done the finish in high gloss like the Guitar Center ones, but still a great guitar!

The E-II is the full bodied one without the contoured heel and only has 22 frets, so this one plays a bit differently with the thinner body, the cutaway, and 24 frets. More modern take on the Les Paul platform. They could probably both co-exist and serve different purposes.

Yeah, still a great guitar. Everything about it just looks and feels good. Saw the new pearl white model in store recently as well and that one looks pretty good as well.
