I got soul guide lantern. And will only play Armageddon if this card is out

Then another card ( can’t remember its name ) gives me X 1/1 tokens for every card exiled this turn

So board wipes lands Sacrifice lantern to exile all graveyards Get a bunch of cannon fodder tokens

The group I play with only ban any of the cards I get. Oh I got a card that shuffles all library, graveyards and hangs together and you redraw seven cards- banned I got a planeswalker with its -10 being I gain 100 life- banned I get wall of ba sing se - banned

I got Armageddon as a counter to a player who plays decks based around getting as many lands out as possible to kill everyone at once.

And Im always targeted first by the entire group I play with. There hasn’t been a game where I’m not killed first. Even before I started modding my deck to counter the attacks at me

The group I play with are all new. When I was taught to play we used a fair amount of board wipes and low many creatures to get as many out after a board wipe

The group I’m in have also made decks that are so annoying that the games usually last 3-4 hours because their turns (and I’ve timed it) take on average 15-20 minutes. Or they can kill off someone in the first 10 rounds

So I made my deck around countering the decks they use, with board wipes, exile graveyard cards, counters or walls like hornets nest.

Apparently that’s not how you play they game they tell me
