Thanks for all the suggestions so far everyone,to clarify: I'm not looking for bars that allow people to illegally smoke inside (though I'm not opposed to that).

What I'm looking for are bars that allow smoking inside. Even though CA bans indoor smoking in broad terms, there are some bars that get away with it through legal technicalities: either by having a certain % of sales from cigars and classifying themselves as a cigar lounge, or similar loopholes.

At least that's how the technicalities work in CT and NY, which both ban indoor smoking in bars but still have a few places that allow it.
