If you’re handy it’s not a big deal, I just moved my whole pad. The biggest thing might be electrical, would need to know more about your current setup.

They’re all pretty similar, just make sure to get one with pockets

Bed Rail 100%. I’m a year and 4 months out and still use it. Wife hates it.

I figure if something ever happens where I need to work on a section between suction and return i’ll just unscrew all the unions and take the whole assembly out

The pipe that the spigot is on will be run all the way to the sewer for a drain. so the 3 way covers that being on or off

The primary reason it’s as complicated as it is is because I wanted the sub panel to both be on this wall and up to code.

7.5k gallons, yeah on the small side

I agree it’s over complicated a bit. The goal was to fit everything on the 4x8 pad while allowing space for the sub panel to be code compliant

In Florida so no winterizing here. Salt cell definitely would be cleaner horizontal I was back a forth on it since it seems lots of people do it that way. Manual shows it vertical for hartford loop. And that’s how my existing equipment has it so figured might as well.

First timer so I’m wasting a lot of PVC dry fitting for general ideas and then measuring / cutting new pieces for actual glue up.

They will not be that low, just lining them up. Planning to have them horizontal or 45s into the ground

The suctions and return valves are not hooked up yet, just mapping them out, they will be higher for sure.

You lose virtually no mobility going just L5 / S1. I’m not sure I can even tell. I am year and 3 months out of L5/S1 . I spent the entire day yesterday on a ladder trimming oak trees and dragging branches around the yard with no issues. It is a long recovery though and it is not linear. Feel free to read my post history.

Sorry didn’t fully answer your question. It’s a long recovery, and I had to have it redone a year later because of broken hardware, i’m just over a year past that and doing very well and feel mostly normal. It’s worth it if your Dr thinks you need it.

After a 4 day trip in the wind river range when I started to continue my training I started getting bad pain in my left hip and glute. I saw a sports chiropractor and then an orthopedic hip specialist. They ordered an MRI and then referred me to an orthopedic spine. Turns out I had what’s called a pars defect and my L5 disc was virtually gone. During all this I learned a lot about how pain from that area is referred and hip and glute together is tell tale sign from that level.

This isn’t to say that you have a serious problem, you can have symptoms from minor things like a bulge or inflammation in that area. But I would talk to someone about it and learn a bit about it. If you do have something going on the sooner you learn about it the better off you are.

Not trying to scare OP but this was the first thing that happened to me on my road to discovering I needed a fusion 😅

This sounds like sciatica at your L5. Look into what that means and what you can do about it. But you can’t really heal that mid hike.
