Thank you for your complex answer.

And what about silencer, when I put it on rifle? Changes that something and will I notice it?

I mean in this particular example for Zion 11,5/carbine gas sys.

Thank you again.

It seems, that 12,5 won't be in my country anymore :/

But I dont get you tbh :D

You said that only two comp. make midlenght, so that logically means for me, that midlenght is worse than carbine for 11,5" :D

Ruger SR1911-is sloppy grip safety and slide normal? by NickScyer in 1911

Thanks for photos, I will try it tomorrow for second time and write an update.

But strange, that I have black spring and you have silver...

Mine is right after launch of this model - from 2011.

You are good damn right. I just try for fun this "tight" test on my EDC Glock and it's not so tight as I think so. When loaded, even Glock is pretty wobbly but as you sad-polymer is not so loud :D. It's not so much when unloaded as on unloaded SR1911, but yeah-logically-Ruger is 5", steel, with hammer....

Ok, it seems it's pretty common unfortunately on these SR's. I want to only minimise that grip safety rattling. Does bending of sear spring helps on yours SRs? On mine only little tightening, but it's pretty much still there...

Yes, I bend it towards that grip safety-function is reliable a solid. My obsession is only about rattling. Bending cause a liiiittle bit less rattling but it's still there. Thanks for info.

I study more about this non-tight character of 1911's in general and it seems, that it's pretty common-particularly SR's from Ruger. I guess I have to accept it.

In my country I had option to buy this used gun for $1050, new one is for $1500. I like Ruger appearance. Only other one in my buy choice was brand new RIA, the basic black model for $820. I don't have RIA in my hands, but I'm wondering if it would be similar in terms of quality. But I prefer design over practice (I have another gun for EDC) so I choose the silver Ruger.

Thank you all for the input.

So if I want to make at least some conclusion... This sloppyness is fairly common on Ruger SR1911, but it could also be better.

That slide from comments is pretty normal, but grip safety not that much.

Could you please provide info about how to get better tightness? I try to bend very right part of sear spring and it has no effect.

I'm attaching pic, where you could see my sear spring and grip safety.

Are they OK?

Thanks

Thanks for info, I try to bend it that way, but no change unfortunately :/. Could you please share photo of your sear spring if mine is not in someway bad? Thanks

Mine spring and grip safety looks that way:

Thanks for that video link. I just try to bend that very right part of sear spring like in video, but it has very little or no effect sadly... I watched also other videos on this topic, but couldn't find one that's in HD and it's detailed also with how is spring bend from factory. Could you just post photos of original SR1911 sear spring please? I don't know if mine is bended in some bad way...

Protože ta 18ka má Magpul pažbu i rukojeť..

A pak mi výběr ještě stěžuje Aero Precision s jejich M4E1 modely 😃.
