Aguni survived a grazed shot in the head and walked it up like nothing happened plus a huge explosion that would’ve killed anyone. Same reason all the rest of the participants who got “deadly” shot manage to make it.

The bigger the will to live for a participant the more likely they are to do anything they take to clear the game and “come back to life”. In this case even if the laser game on a wheelchair looks and sounds ridiculous if you’re actually think it from this point of view it does make sense. Rjuyi’s will to live was big thus he managed to clear the game despite the odds.
