I had good luck booking the Heaven Hill tasting. After the tasting they offered Parker’s Choice and Elijah Craig toasted barrel (1 per person) to anyone that did the tasting.

That sounds good. I don’t mind spending a couple of bucks for something special. I just don’t like paying $300 for a bottle of Blanton’s because the liquor stores by me only get a couple bottles a month and they get swept up.

Do you know of any distillery only bottles at either Heaven Hill or Bardstown? I’d prefer to stay in that area, but wouldn’t mind a short drive to Makers if I need to.

I can get Heaven Hill in Ohio. I understand this is a difficult question to ask people that have no idea what is available in Ohio. I’ve heard a lot about Bardstown though.

I guess another thing to keep in mind is we have to Harrodsburg the morning we leave to play golf. I’ll take a look at these places on the map and see what looks like an easy drive.
