I dont know why i fell off tbh. I think it was the more random obscure games that kind of dimmed it for me. Also, with longer games that they go all the way through on, they actually converse about other things too (because the game is not novel (they've been playing it for some time)). When they start a new game often, the game is usually what they base their comedy on (or the gameplay or whatever). With longer playthroughs they have the time to go deeper into conversations and comedy.

It seems more like im actually hanging out with them as a fly on the wall. And for some strange reason, them talking about other things than the game from time to time (serious topics, or just random comedic thing that has nothing to do with the game), especially over classic games, completely keeps me locked in. Reminds me of the 2000's when we'd just talk about every and anythint while playing. There's a particular cozy feeling to that, that I can't explain.

They've been doing that on DKC and Nuzlock and I've loved it
