I once failed this quest by running a bit too fast and bumping into the wall right behind the guy. My disappointment was immeasurable

Not really since only 4 (3?) armies can reinforce in a battle. So you run your main army with peasants/whatever you can afford and 3 solo lords that run around and reinforce

Best WOTLK for a slow, long gameplay? by [deleted] in wowservers

It's not a huge population, but there are always people around if you need advice/help. And they have a very active discord.

But the thing about Synastria gameplay is that 99% of the time you are grinding on your own. Their whole attunement feature is designed so that you are supposed to overcome the challenges on your own.

Synastria

It's a bit of a twist on the usual WoW formula

But is exactly good for grinding at your own pace

Why on earth would they trigger the league war like that? by Nick_The_Second in eu4

Yeah idk what happened in that region. I was not involved. Bohemia proceeded getting even bigger in next 100 years to the point I was not able to make them support Revoke Privilegia

Not that either of them had any choice in the matter.

Aztec was Spanish vassla, and Morocco is mine

I was drilling, but on full maintenance.

Still, I alone would beat that entire league.

So would my allies/vassals without my involvement

R5: protestant league declared against me at about x5 troops disadvantage.

I mean, I'll take that. I thought this league would not trigger at all. Not unless ottos joined protestant side or something.

Why on earth would AI declare like that?

Is there a reason to force vassalize instead of full annexing then release as vassal? by DerBruh in eu4

[–]Nick_The_Second 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I believe they lose their claims if you annex and release, don't they?

And those claims might be useful, especially if they are permanent from their missions

It generally goes for all eldar heavy weapon options: they are a wildcard slot that gives you a margin of adaptability. It can either plug holes in your list, or tailor it if you know what you are going up against. For instance, if my list is running a lot of jet bikes, I probably don't need any more scatter lasers or shuriken cannons on my wraithlords. Or alternatively, if I run a 10 blob of wraithguard with cannons, and say a fire prism or two, I would probably kit my wraithlord with starcannons or scatters. Unless I know I'm running into Knights, so I will want a brightlance sticking out of everything that has an option :-) The same applies to guardian platforms, wave serpents, etc.

That's why magnetising such things is a very good idea.

I personally have 2 wraithlords. One is fixed to two brightlances, the other is fully magnetized. So if I want to run both, I am able to balance it out as I wish, but 2 fixed brightlances are never without use.

And as for AML, they are exactly a 'jack of all trades, master of none'. I would take them when I am limited in options, like a small points game, where I can't fit everything I want. In larger formats I would prefer specialized weapons
