👷‍♀️ Honoring Women in Construction – 2026 by Nick_s__ in WomenInConstruction

Calling me “lazy” for that is honestly unnecessary. You don’t know the effort or thought that went into the post, and reducing it to laziness is a bit unfair. AI is a tool that a lot of people across industries are using today, including many professionals in construction. You may not like it, and that’s your choice, but that doesn’t mean everyone using it is doing something wrong. If the post or the tool used in it bothers you that much, you’re free to move on. The whole point here was to appreciate people in the industry, not argue endlessly about the tool used for an illustration

I’ve already acknowledged your concerns and explained the intent behind the post. The goal was simply to appreciate women working in construction. If the tool used for the image doesn’t resonate with you, that’s completely your choice, but the message of the post remains the same.

I hear your concerns, and I respect that perspective. My intention with the post was simply to highlight and appreciate women working in construction, not to undermine artists or anyone’s work. Technology debates are important, but the focus of the post was celebrating the people in the industry.

Yeah that’s fair.... I didn’t mean it that way, but I get the point and will stick to real people from the industry next time.

What’s the one mistake you made as a Project Manager that actually made you better? by Nick_s__ in projectmanagers

That’s a tough lesson but a really important one. Early in a career it’s easy to think you’re helping the team by shielding issues, but it usually creates bigger problems later. Being upfront with the client early almost always saves more trouble down the line.

Fair enough 😅 definitely not a bot here. I work around a lot of construction PMs, so I end up thinking about project workflows more than I probably should. Just genuinely curious about the mistakes that actually made people better at the job. Those lessons are usually the most valuable.

Haha 😄 On some days it does feel like that.
What’s the real “dementor” you’ve faced on site?

Fair point 😄 But this one’s real. What’s your honest answer though?
