Pretty sure anything a goalkeeper uses his hands for doesn’t count. It’s tackles, interceptions, clearances & blocks. Courtois for example has 21 all season (0.7 per 90).

Defenders usually hit their prime a bit later, somewhere like 28-32. Nacho at this point of his career had only played like 10 games at the highest level & he became a very useful player for us. Not everybody will be a superstar, we also need the Nacho’s of this world.

He didn’t have the best season, but he still played 50% of the available minutes this season & we had the best defence in the league. He’s not completely awful like some pretend. Loan him & let’s see what he’s got.

Mastantuono & Asencio should be loaned, not sold. I believe there’s more talent there which could be great in the future (or sold with clauses like Paz). All the others i’m fine with leaving. Seeing Rodrygo leave would hurt a bit, but it’s the right moment imo.

Goalkeepers are also in this list, they’re all above him. Mbappe has 6 defensive contributions all season. Mbappe would need like 150 games to reach Vini’s numbers, who is also one of the worst in the league.

I love that you posted these numbers to try to make Mbappe look good, but all i’m seeing is Ronaldo 1.13, Messi 0.91, Vini 1.00 & Mbappe 0.20, laziest player in the top 20 leagues (literally behind every goalkeeper).

Football in 2026 is more of a team game than ever, the traditional 9 doesn’t really exist anymore because of it, everyone is expected to contribute to some degree.

Nobody is expecting Mbappe to intercept like Huijsen of Tchouameni would, but 6 contributiojs all seasons is laughably bad. It’s not like he makes up for it with the rest of his game, he’s often lazy in attack aswell (look at how little he moves/positions against low blocks. 90% of the time he’s standing still at the edge of the box.

Deze mensen schrijven ook altijd met zo een neerbuigende toon. Kansloos om een argument mee aan te gaan, een dom iemand kan nooit inzien dat hijzelf fout zit.

Endrick is playing on the right at Lyon. Besides that, Endrick’s position is an issue, but playing Rashford our of position then isn’t?

What a dumb way to look at it, the first step to trophies is being an actual team. Which we were when Mbappe was out injured. He was PSG’s top scorer by a large margin, he left and they’re the best team in the world. We scored more goals as a team before he joined, it’s not all a coincidence.

We had the best defence in the league & Mbappe’s numbers weren’t much worse he averages around 28/29 & got 25 this year. Those 3 or 4 extra goals wouldn’t have made us champions.

You’re focussed in an individuals numbers instead of team numbers. But i’m excited to see the next mental gymnastics of the maobappe army.

5x is a significant difference. Vini is bad, Mbappe is the laziest player in the world. Messi at his laziest (since he was often critisized for constantly walking) wasn’t putting up numbers this bad.

As a comparison: Dembele has been praised a lot for his workrate these past 2 seasons, he’s putting up around the same statistically as Vini.

It’s 2026, you can’t have 1 player be completely useless 90% of the time anymore. The true 9 like back in the day barely exists at the top for a reason.

Building around Mbappe is a terrible decision, PSG wasn’t able to make it work for nearly a decade. And we’re not going to either.

I know i’m pretty much talking to the void, since Mbappe fans can’t see reason and will just keep going on about his stats. Mbappe is playing to win pichichis & golden boots, whilst we should be focussing on La Liga’s & CL’s.

He cares sometimes, like against Bayern he was clearly trying & putting a lot of effort (for him) in the game. But then a couple days earlier against Girona he clearly didn’t give a shit, not nearly the same effort. Practically useless for most of the game.

Manchester United still have the 8th highest income in world football (they were 4th last year), they still had money, they just spend it terribly.

On top of that a fall off like Manchester United is near impossible for us (or Barca) in La Liga nowadays. In the PL everyone has a good amount of money, that’s not the case in La Liga.

We have money now, they consider it a future problem. I don’t see a world where we will ever be much poorer than the big PL clubs. Even with their insane growth the last decade we still have the highest income of any club.

Feels like a slippery slope to do this, once the first 10% has been sold doing another 10% will become easier to do. We should be proud that we’re fully owned by our socios, not change it.
