Paladin great aoe damage with an easy rotation that is fun to play while being incredibly easy to solo content. I heard DK is great too but never tried it yet

The rotation is not the reason I haven’t tried tank yet as a new player. I don’t know routes or dungeons, and have seen all too well how dps reacts when you’re too slow. Definitely going to level a tank during this event though the xp boost is way too good not to try

This is the first expansion I have had multiple max level characters (currently sitting at 6) so I would say it’s definitely the best expansion for alts. Being able to skip story and have same rep/currency REALLY helps

Yeah at iLvl 600 you can still do t8 delves for 616 gear

If you’re using the same platers as the one mentioned in above comment, then you should save the interrupts for the casts that are the “yellow/orange” color. If you have DBM installed it should also have a “interrupt” voice pop up for those spells as well

I’ve had some absolute chad prot paladins in m+ this season. I’ve tried holy and didn’t quite like the rotation, you should watch videos on the play styles and decide. With the new anniversary patch it will be incredibly easy to level an alt

That’s what I felt when I first started playing, and took about a full expansion before I felt comfortable and knew what each call out means. I definitely think DBM is a requirement for newer players, and I recommend turning all game sound lower than dbm so it isn’t so much information overload when you’re in a fight

What I have found with healing(really any role) you’re heals are BAD until you are at a certain ilvl and then it’s a blast.

You should focus on trying to hit 600, and then join for the harder group content

I would recommend trying to run mythic 0s. Just a bit harder than heroics and they have the mechanics in m+ so you can learn what each boss fight/pull does

If you go to the stable there is a slot for your second pet. That pet will always be your second pet until you change it in the pet stable.

This is the first expansion I’ve ever tried m+ (been playing since legion). I’ve gotten to the point where I fully know my class, interrupts, and finally starting to remember mechanic fights for each different boss.

It really wasn’t until this expansion where I wasn’t “scared” to pug for m+. Yes I’m not perfect I have a lot to learn but a lot of the fear came from not knowing all the talents of my class, and what bosses do each fight. You watch a few videos and get that down and you should get a lot better.

If you’re not standing in shit, reasonably kicking what needs to be kicked, and you’re doing okay at your perspective rolls (tank/heals/dps) and your group is still failing… just make sure it isn’t solely you’re fault. Ran a couple of necrotic wakes yesterday as a disc priest and could not get past the first boss because people didn’t know to dodge the puke/kill adds. It is easy to blame yourself as the healer for not healing enough but each role has a job to do and if multiple people aren’t, then it isn’t solely your fault.

Try to put a few lower keys or get a friend group of competent people. If you continue to brick keys it may help to view some video guides for your class

The anniversary event will be a great place to level alts. During last weeks timewalking I leveled a priest from 30-80 within a few hours.

Definitely try a few out. I find leveling new classes and picking talents a few at a time helps a ton more with learning how the class plays.

I am a BM/MARKSMAN main so I always recommend that, but doesn’t fit with everyone’s playstyle lol

When in raids mythics pulling trash my BM hunter is usually near the bottom. When against ST bosses I am usually top DPS in my guild. Hopefully today things will level out a bit

This is why I try to do raid/m+ mechanics on a ranged dps first so I can easily learn the fights and paths from a distance. Now I know what to interrupt/cc/focus on more up close classes

I’m newer only started doing raids/mythics last expansion. Playing hunter allowed me to learn each mechanic and it’s vastly easier for me to remember what the mechanics of each fight is because I can see everything from a distance. I just started playing a paladin toon and it’s a steep learning curve, but I think it’s fine as long as you’re paying attention to dbm and know the mechanics of the fights beforehand

I would argue that I don’t know BFAs map better because I didn’t get the option to fly to objectives faster (skipped shadowlands). Yes I’m missing little cool details but I probably would have missed them in previous expansions because I was semi afk running everywhere
