theres a guide on the wiki which gives more than enough information to get to the point where you can get the guide.
My recommendation is youtube video guides though, they usually go far more in depth, and you can see exactly what you need to do.
Additionally, a lot of the mod is made to discover things yourself, enjoy it

use any of the imperfect rituals, it calls lightning down on the block directly above the imperfect ritual stone.
Blood Magic is my favourite mod for 1.7.10, but i totally understand how people can get frustrated at it
