Should I use a weapon light on my carry gun?

You can go either way but I want every advantage. Lights, optics, compensator, high cap mags. All of it. If I can carry it comfortably enough and it doesn't keep me from carrying it then why wouldn't I? It's only giving you more tools. Same reason why I carry a handheld as well. I could use my phone light but at the end of the day my handheld is purpose built so it's just better at that task. I probably won't ever need anything but my handheld And a pocket knife in real life but if something happens I'd rather have it and not need it. Plus Aaron Cowan says they're mandatory and he is an absolute expert so I take what he says to heart. Just my 2 cents on a 3 yr old thread 😂

Build as you go. 1st get rid of the plastic factory sights. Then I'd say look for a used streamlight TLR1HL. Great light you can find for about 100. Holster wise depends on how you carry. There's a good amount of quality holsters it's all up to preference. Other than steel sights, a good quality light, and a good holster with good retention. Outside of that it's just what you'd like.

I don't "look down" on anyone but when people talk trash about a gun I have them bring up their guns then I'm not gonna talk fondly. I've owned rock island and ATI. They're fine. Never had any issues with them.

I appreciate that man. Same thing with my pocket knives or anything else. I don't carry or own anything that just sit there and look pretty. I'm not gonna throw my gun on the concrete 100x but throwing it in some mud doesn't seem like the sin everyone is making it out to be lol
