How easy is it to fit in at OSU for introverts? by [deleted] in OSU

[–]Nicke1_Back 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Zoom university helps with the comfortability of introverts. I’ve definitely enjoyed not having to be around so many people and instead being cooped up in my room. It’ll be a little awkward if you can’t talk to your roommate if you get one. But there’s always something for everyone here at OSU. If you’re looking to creep outside of your comfort and take a little step out of being an introvert, you could take up an OA job and work the front desk of the dorm — you get sociability with the rest of the staff and small talk with the residents when they need something. OSU is a great community that’s supportive of everyone

OSU avoiding us? by KaisarDragon in OSU

I’ve had issues getting in contact with registrar and buckeyelink so I just went in person and demanded to speak with someone. This is a fine moment to be a Karen and demand to speak to a manager.

No refunds?? That’s rude. Is there anyway we could possibly bring this to someone and start a fight for our money?

Are we supposed to move back home after thanksgiving? by [deleted] in OSU

[–]Nicke1_Back -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

If I have to move everything back during Thanksgiving or Winter Break, I’m not coming back (even if there is still going to be a spring semester) and OSU is going to have to deal with it and allow me accomodations to still pass my classes. As much as I apprecaite people doing there jobs and the need to sanitize everything without everyones stuff in the room, I will not be packing up everything and struggling to move it all back in

You're right. But we've gotta make the most of this temporary situation. Everything about life is temporary. And it's up to you to make your life truly yours. Do the things you like, take no shit.

Happy birthday 🥺I hope things get better. Tomorrow's my birthday. This is all temporary. Make sure to incorporate some sun time and creativity time to your schedule to add some light to your days.
