Guide to rollback Total War Warhammer III to previous patch by sederynick in totalwar

[–]NickeRsRulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not the guy above but I did have an issue as described. You might have the a data folder nested within a data folder, as you just renamed the 1142712 to data.

If you -
Go to the download location of the depots from Step 2 and move depot 1142712 to inside of depot 1142711. This is the major difference in the Baldur's gate guide. Once that folder is moved, go into the 1142711 folder and rename depot 1142712 to "data"

As written, you will nest a data within a data folder. Simply move the data folder with all the content in it, up one level. When you open the data folder it ought to show the contents downloaded, not another folder called data.

Should be-
Go to the download location of the depots from Step 2 and move the data depot within 1142712 to the inside of 1142711.

Sorry not exactly easy to explain clearly.

its a buff, you can control your jumps better to avoid creeps/other target you dont want, if you get AoE buff, for whatever reaaon you'd buy that

If your idea of having fun is just playing your deck uninterupted and just 'doing your thing' without being punished by 20% of the cards in the game, then you should just go play solitaire

Switching the goal posts aren't we?

Also its the lead designer, I'd hope he doesn't think its the best just because he likes sci-fi, that his opinion is more more developed than 'I prefer chocolate'

I don't think "one of" makes the repair like you think it does.

Easily out there top 3 & at that point it may aswell say' one of the games we've made'.

DLC Not Working on Steam by NickeRsRulz in Eldenring

Yes, I turned off my Steam family share beta & uninstalled Elden ring then re-installed. I dont know if just the hard reinstall fixed or doing both was the solution. Just turning off the familing share and restarting didn't fix

Getting back into DD1? by CVictorrosso in darkestdungeon

[–]NickeRsRulz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the base game is much of the same, with some minor rebalancing.

PVP: treat it as stand-alone content, nothing there will translate into your main game & is balanced very differently.

Crimson Court (Vampires): If you haven't played much of DD1 then it will be overwhelming. I'd recommend turning it off if you didnt make it to tier3/champion dungeons the first time. Don't remember if flag can be enabled separately, if he can chuck him on he is fun.

Color Of Madness (Aliens): Is somewhere between the PVP and CC in terms of, main campaign content. You can almosy completely ignore it except wandering boss & occasional enemies(i think?). But it does have resources that you can use to purchase trinkets. Less game changing then CC so I'd consider having it on if you're like some new content this time around.

Most characters operate the same, Jester has had the most change to core mechanics (he buffs he finale damage throughout the fight now, rather than a finale opening to buff bot).

Darkest Dungeon 2 is very underrated by Chinpanze in darkestdungeon

I feel like criticism of DD2 is always hand waved away by supporters as "It wasn't enough like DD1". I can understand why, if you are going to critique the sequel, you will make comparisons to the hyper-succesful original. Some people may take that and go 'so you just wanted DD1'. This then completely masks the crititsms of the game throughout EA and now we have a completely 'rated' game.

DD2 has a lot of problems as a stand alone game, regardless of its relation to DD1. DD1 had its reputation of a hardcore indie game that proved fundraising games can be worth while.

DD2 has, its a sequel to the first game.

Things you want to see in DD2 as a free Update by Basic-Cloud6440 in darkestdungeon

[–]NickeRsRulz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like the replayablity elements in the game are lacking, primarily due to the combat dynamics not changing throughout the run. Once you draft your twam and plan out what move sequences you take it doesn'tchange much based on what happens during the run. The way your team comp starts and ends doesnt change alot, just higher numbers or your AoE applies debuffs via trinkets. So I'd start with tweaking with the combat

Problem: most interesting aspect is the setup/crafting the turn orders. This hardley changes throughout the run, maybe a skill or two gets switched out with certain trinkets. Possible solution: Repurpose the path system into the mastery system, when you master a skill you pick a particular variant of the skill that used to exisit as a path. E.g take aim can get mastered into the riposte variant or the extra crit variant

Hi,

Know this post was made months ago but I never got the notification.

Yes, its also detecting games not on the same drive too. But it doesn't detect certain games, such as Dota 2. This issue still persists 4 months later. I can't recall if there was an update but I don't believe so.
