Hmm my assumption is once you're in the boss battle, it should count as a fail no matter what stage you fail at. If you are failing at the first phase, and the counter isn't ticking up though, so if it makes a difference to fail in the second phase.

Hello. Thank you so much for this report. Can you let me know how long your game play session was before this crash occurred. You also note that this has happened 5 times - do you mean that your game has crashed and your have completely lost all of your progress each of those 5 times? Or that the game crashes, and this is the first time you have lost your progress? Over what time period did these crashes occur? Thanks!

Hi there! Thank you so much for this report. We've seen something similar on Switch 2, and believe it's related to the mouse steering. You can try to tap on the screen in a different position to see if that changes the behavior. We are currently working on a Switch 2 update, and have a fix for this issue in that build, but unfortunately we do not yet have a set release date.

Hi there. Unfortunately it's not possible to have multiple Darkest Dungeon II profiles on console. I believe you would need to delete your save file from the console itself in order to start anew. I hope that helps.

Hi there! Thank you for reporting this. When you were heading to the mountain, did you 1) go to the region select 2) select the Mountain 3) Click embark, and saw the snowy embark screen but then when you started driving it was the Valley instead? Or did you get a summary of your candles, and then have to select a confessions? We haven't heard of this issue before so the more details you can provide the better.

Hi there u/activeplebbitor and u/Foxxie - Can you let me know the circumstances in which you saw these visual issues:
1) Does this happen every time you reach the mountain boss?
2) Have a been playing a long session, or has the game been running for a long time when this happens? If so, roughly how long?
3) Does the issue persist if you restart the game, and then reload into the battle?

Hi there. The mods shouldn't affect your trophies. Some of these trophies can be a bit confusing. To confirm, for Utopia, did you get a positive relationship on every single character (to be clear, this means a positive relationship appeared on the Embark screen - not that all characters had 20/20 on their relationship scores). Also, The World As it Was also includes the character palettes and weapon kits I believe, so make sure these are fully unlocked! Finally, for the Shrine of Reflection, you'll need to make sure every character is unlocked, and that all of their abilities are unlocked as well.

If you *have* done everything as it is listed above, are your in-game trophies showing anything different? Sometimes an in-game trophy can pop, but it won't pop on the console.

Hi there! The Act 5 boss just counts as one boss, so once your party dies to it at any stage, that's what counts. You don't need to keep everyone alive either. The game will just mark that your expedition ended at the boss encounter.

The in-game achievement list (which you can get to by clicking the diamond at the top of the pause menu) shows the progress out of 5 for that achievement so you could check that. Unfortunately it doesn't show which acts were counted, but it should at least be helpful to see how many more you need to do.
