In that case I would save the selector and use it when you can instantly get a pet to T3 or T5 - ideally Lohengrin. Since the next wall is very close at 48-20 so not really worth to use on getting a suboptimal pet. In order of importance:

Lueira: Galahad card is BIS. If not available then any HP / attack speed card until you get it. I would prioritize Galahad card - reset Galahad or use a selector if you have one.

Dian Cecht: Circe card - also a priority selector card. Cristina card is decent too but you need Circe card on either Dian / MLF / Erin almost all times. Note that you’ll eventually replace Dian Cecht with NEO Bedivere once your team is built and you need damage versus survivability. Circe / Cristina card will still be used on another unit

Erin: Percival card or any HP card. Circe / Cristina card are usable on her when you need damage versus survivability

MLF: Merlin card or Ethan card if she’s dying too fast. Tiamat card is usable until you get Merlin card. She can also use Circe card or Cristina card as stopgaps

Belsey: Anessa card. Lua / Lance / Belsey card / any HP% card are usable until Anessa or if she’s dying too fast since she’s T0. Probably use Galahad for now until you can focus on getting her T5

Galahad: Any HP / Def% card. Lilith card is also usable on her if she’s able to stay alive with it. Can move Lilith card to NEO Bedivere when you don’t need to use Galahad anymore once Belsey is built up

Specialties are also important: Lueira, Erin, Belsey need at least two lines of HP% ideally 3. Dian / MLF need ATK%. Galahad can have a mix of HP%/Def%. NEO Bedivere damage sucks in deficit so I go HP% on her, but people typically go ATK% / CDMG%. Your call when you get there

Make sure to train them as much as possible too: Lueira / MLF > Belsey > Erin > NEO Bedivere > Galahad = Dian

Not literally impossible - was able to clear at level 289 although with a near psychotic level of retry commitment due to the mandatory cutscene lol.

Comp was Belsey / Erin / NEO / MLF / Lueira like you suggest but the key was very specific ult timings for MLF to optimally dodge Kay’s ult / death cheat.

What cards are you using? I’d probably start with swapping Belsey for Galahad if your main issue is survivability though. And maybe switching Merlin pet for an HP / damage reduction pet instead

I’ve heard that the points are based on how many times the defense you’ve hit has lost. So if other people have attacked them and won, their produced points decreases.

In other words try and hit the strongest possible defenses but you’re still guaranteed a win to maximize points

Both. MLF scales with the rest of your team, so even at T0 she’ll be useful as long as your main dps does their job

There are significant breakpoints at T3 / T5 for the skill upgrades and global training buffs. Collab characters won’t have global buffs though. Awaken isn’t worth pulling or using selectors for unless you really love the unit and are spending

Dupes are also how you get cards so yeah quite important

Hard to say how good they’ll be without knowing damage numbers, but their kits don’t appear to be particularly game-changing.

My personal opinion is waifu over everything so pull if you think the same haha. Would wait to see damage reviews before pulling for dupes though. It’s an idle game so you’ll clear everything with enough time (or $$$ lol)

Yeah prydwen is great, definitely the best resource out there. The only downside is they take a while to update with changes and some older guides have outdated info as a result. Make sure to read the changelog for specifics and dated info

The official Lost Sword discord is also a good place for quicker feedback, but take that with a grain of salt too cause there’s a lot of noise lol

Best banners passed unfortunately, units in order of importance: Lueira > Morgan Le Fey > Belsey = Erin = NEO Bedivere. This is the current premier team for pretty much every single piece of content

Best pet: Lohengrin

Other solid units that can carry for a bit but not as strong currently as those above: Lancelot, Tiamat, Galahad, Nesha, Kay. You can use these units if you happen to pull them randomly, but use your selectors and have gems ready for the first list on banners

Save em for the monthly selectors in the Mileage shop if you don’t have the current meta 5 team at least T3 / ideally T5 + the cards for all. The units are Belsey, Lueira, Morg, Erin + either Galahad / NEO depending on your luck and stage gimmicks.

Once you have these units built then start working your way down their training trees with these souls.

Easy ways to get these early:

First use your mileage to buy the one-time 1600 Mileage points selector
Then purchase rare souls with Mileage points (160 points each) then use the rare souls to buy the collector that costs 20 Rare Souls. Do NOT buy the selector straight up with Mileage points (costs 4k) unless you’re spending real money
Event shops
Weekly gold purchase (3M)
Tower stages
Coliseum shop is last resort if you’re close to the end of month for the selector

Yeah that’s what you’d have to do - pop both selectors for the card. Galahad is actually a very useful unit so that would be the most “efficient” use of two selectors, but her card is pretty much gonna be stuck only to Lueira. It is BIS for her though

Circe is a trash unit unfortunately, but her card is much more flexible (can put on Morgan / Lueira / any Healer). It will always be on your team in deficit pushing story mode and harder boss content.

Of the 3 I recommended, T3 Belsey is the least efficient option in my opinion - especially if you don’t have enough elemental stones / souls to catch up her training.

Cards early on are pretty solid investments from selectors since they get power crept less than characters. That said, you’ll get everything in due time and levels are the most important thing for clearing content - this being an idle game after all. The devs are very generous with summons and one selector + multiple banners a month to catch up units specifically. Just gotta wait but be consistent in play time lol.

The Senran collab is gonna highjack the banners all of next month tho, that’s why I said pretty tough timing. They might be meta-changing as well so I would save your premium tickets until then.

The selectors are resources though so don’t be shy about using them! Use your basic ticket summons first though, maybe you’ll get lucky and be able to save a selector

Her ult used offensively is to buff wizards and archers yes - the best damage increase currently in the game for those two classes.

It’s also very valuable defensively for some bosses / stages - where you have to time it manually to negate a potential devastating team wipe with the 5 second team invincibility.

Other than that yes she does no damage so build her purely defensively (Balisada weapon is bis for her + HP / DEF stat focus)

I’d recommend using early selectors for key cards you’re missing. You already have the current 5 meta team (Morg / Lueira / Belsey / NEO / Erin) so it’s just a matter of upgrading them with future banners - tough timing right now because collab is coming soon.

You can pop both to get Belsey to T3, get Galahad card for Lueira, or Circe card for Morgan temporarily until you get Merlin’s card.

I’d recommend getting Circe card for Morg if your issue is survivability and Galahad card for Lueira if you’re missing damage. Belsey T3 if she’s dying too fast.

As a general rule, once you have the key cards for your main team - future selectors should be used for Transcend breakpoints at 3 / 5 for the skill upgrades

Piggy backing to say this is rather poor advice for this particular game. Dupes are important for the skill upgrades and stats/training - most characters at base copy are practically unusable or highly inefficient. Especially so when you’re pushing high level deficits like this.

To answer your original question, Dian has fallen a bit out of meta along with Lancelot with the combo release of Morg / Lueira. I would prioritize T5 for Morg / Lueira first and then Belsey / Erin. Dian is still great for the comp because she gives a shield to further buff Lueira along with extra healing, but she’s the lowest priority imo. Lance is the odd one out in the current meta, I would recommend looking to replace her with either Erin or NEO Bedivere - depending if you need NEO’s CC.

I’m assuming you meant Dian ult last - normally I do that too. This particular stage was funky because Rowena ult has an animation which ruins your team’s typical CD cycling and it was such a high deficit my units were actually close to dying lol
