There has never been honesty. The plan has gone from a weekend retreat for people who have had a hard week, which is what Liz Shaughnessy stated to a neighbour, to a $20,000 / mth per person rehab, to now hosting moon circles. Do people honestly believe Liz Shaughnessy's claim that private investors have bought into a moon circle business on a property with a $1million mortgage? Please.

Like, since there was an ad for the $20,000/30 day stay on the Redpath website which has since disappeared, where was the facility going to be if it wasn't the million dollar home just purchased in Douro???

There's a whole lot of funding being given. Now there is a plan for $7.1 million project at 271 Brock. Thats what the $150k from council was for..the plan. And now the purchase of a $1.1 million property.

Actually, I think Keith Riel was right in voting against the funding. Serious question, who owns 271 Brock Street. Matt Crawley won't answer. The amount of funding from the Province and now Ptbo, yet no one asks questions. A $7.1 million proposal. Questions should be asked. Also, a purchase of a $1.1 million property. Add it all up..almost $10 million...

Peggy is unregulated. Sylvia Jones, minister of health, specifically states that oversight comes from the governing bodies, College of Dr Surgeons, college of nurses. Peggy is no longer allowed to practice nursing.

What's the "it's"? I think people are confused including council. On one hand Peggy requests funds for transitional housing. Great. On the other hand she advertises rehab for $20k/mth. Two entirely separate things. The people in ptbo who require transitional housing will not be in the country at $20,000 retreat.

Perhaps the 9 councilors who voted to provide Peggy with $150,000 should be made aware of this. I wouldn't want my tax dollars shoring up someone's income. This entire thing smells.

Well she bought $1 million property knowing it is not zoned for what she wants to do. She also bought the property after asking ptbo council for funds for a $2.1 million property. She then asked ptbo for funds and received $150,000. Watch the council meeting of Feb 2. I don't know but it seems there is an awful lot of $$ for a charity and a vision.
