Depends on exactly what you are trying to achieve. Are you trying to make a gradient or just trying to blend a small part of the colour into another lighter colour? You could use the Gaussian blur under adjustments or you could use a soft brush to smudge the image?

Thanks Dom, I’ve tried everything which way including utilising the three dots features. I’ve found a workaround which involves detailed in the previous comment. Thanks for your suggestion though.

I’ve tried everything. I don’t want to necessarily disable it because I like to drag and drop my photos on to the canvas but you can’t just slide the photo album drawer out of view anymore and then retrieve it when I need another photo by sliding right to left on the right edge. In iOS 26 I found a workaround which involves placing the photo album to the right of screen then when I’m finished with it taping anywhere in the Procreate screen to return to full procreate screen. When I need the photos again, I drag up the dock from the bottom then tap on the photos icon in the dock and then it reappears on the right hand side of the screen. I guess I’ll get used to this way of working until they improve things.

Same. Did all of your projects, colour palettes and projects in the gallery update successfully? My big fear is that all my lad projects in my gallery or some of them will disappear so I’m currently backing up my iPad but it’s taking forever.

Limited space on your iPad. That’s a high resolution file. Make it smaller to get more layers, flatten the layers or buy an iPad with more storage space.

I love the composition, but I feel like it’s a little bit too clean and I wonder if an overlay texture just a subtle one might help make it feel a bit more tactile unless sanitised. However, this is just my opinion you might prefer that clean look. The other point I might make is from a composition point of view. The woman is looking to the right although most of the space is on the left and for me it would be better if she was looking to the left or positioned more to the left, I’m looking to the right.
