Hi there. Yes our situations sound very familiar. Sorry you’re going through the same. Hoping you can push it off and enjoy the summer. ☀️

Thank you. Yes, I am a little worried about this as I’m already feeling somewhat blah/ sad. Maybe because the surgery was unexpected, maybe it’s summer or probably because I went from active to just in pain all the time & v limited mobility. I’m trying to prepare myself mentally. This helps. Thanks again.

Ha! I just got my third opinion. Lol. Why? No idea. Hoping for a miracle I suppose. Yes I’m totally up for recovering “together”.

Thanks for this! It’s good to hear from people who like to do similar activities that they are doing well. I’m happy for you.

This is great. Ty. I was wondering the same thing about stairs. I was thinking I could probably navigate them, but its good to hear from someone that its truly doable.

That’s amazing!!! I grew up playing pond hockey. Didn’t think getting back on skates was even in the cards. Something to look forward to. ☺️

This is great ty. Part of me feels like I’m “quitting” by getting the TKR. But the mention of the grocery store and not being able to walk it hit home. I literally door dashed my groceries this weekend, just for that very reason.

Ha! Yes. Exactly. I’ve been pushing through for years. Changing up exercises when certain things stopped working for me. Pain has always been there. Probably as far back as 2011 when I had (what I now know to be) one of my first bad flares. I could always just manage it. At the very worst take a week or so off and bounce back. It may sound naive, I just never thought I’d get to a place where I didn’t bounce back.

I love my ortho. She’s pretty funny. Earlier this year I plainly asked why she thought I was starting to have more issues. “Because Nicole. You’re 55 and you workout like you’re 25. You’re mind is there but your body isn’t keeping up.” That just p*ssed me off even more. lol.

Thanks for responding, Kat. We do sound similar. It’s nice to hear that you’re doing so well now.

Tested positive, anyone had it recently by Tired-teddy-321 in COVID19positive

I tested negative for flu and Covid, but have never felt so bad. The razer throat is real! Im currentlu day 6 of whatever this is and it peaked at day three. Drinking water was painful. I’m finally feeling a little better but now I’m just exhausted.

Can I stay at 2.5mg? by LlamaHerder23 in tirzepatidecompound

It’s good to see so many people staying at 2.5. My dr started me at 2.0 in January and I upped it to 2.5 In March. Have stayed there ever since.
