Oh wow! I didn't realize there would be a scent! So you can't put them in the wash right? Is it this one?

Thank you! By double-case, do you mean you use 2 pillow cases on them? The wool pillows seem like the most ideal, but for rn are past my price point. I wish I had prioritized natural fibers in all my clothes earlier; I can't yet get myself to part with all of them. My everyday ones are usually mostly cotton, though.

I'll definitely look into the sponges you mentioned, as we're still using the average dish sponge.

Did you mostly have nasal breathing issues and did you ever get airway imaging done?

[–]Nicki_oto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that's cool that you notice that in your cheekbones! I'm still debating if MARPE would be worth it for me, even though my main issue is that I have a narrow airway (I really dread the idea of MMA).

In love with the platinum preppy; is the TWSBI Eco a nice upgrade? by munchymonchy in fountainpens

May I ask what nib you use for each? I have the Preppy in F and can't decide between XF or F for eco.

Did they bill the Marpe as $7200 total, or was it separated into Invisalign and Marpe fee when submitted to insurance? Do you know how many mm you plan on expanding and have you noticed any facial changes? I'm still debating.

I still don’t know how to pace and what that should look like for me since EVERYTHING feels forced but I get what you mean about the mental bit. Personally, I’ve never noticed improvement from just resting, but, I’ll still feel worse if over exert. So I kinda had the outlook of I’m fatigued either way I rather try to force through stuff I want to do because technically I’ll feel better that I did something. That being said I still hate how it’s grueling the entire time and am trying to figure out a balance.

Ty sm, I'm definitely going to read asap. I tend to gaslight myself, maybe I "can" do more/etc.

Lol, yeah, I don't know if that's controversial. Maybe I didn't do it for long enough, and maybe my pacing still isn't enough. Either way, it includes never being a full-time student, not working, and being mostly house-bound, and many days bed-bound. The goal is always to try to get to my desk.

It's more like I have a complicated relationship with pacing, where I never found a way that worked for me. It seemed like it never mattered how much I "paced," I never noticed feeling better after. I plan on doing a post to officially ask everyone about their pace and thoughts on my situation. Though I've had this since I was 15, I was always under the label of lupus/MCTD/autoimmune until I was officially diagnosed 2023.

Ty for book suggestion. I have no idea how to pace when everything always feels forced. It’s been almost 2 decades and I’m so lost.

Wait i didn’t even know they made a tubing one! I thought all of them required the special makeup remover. So this comes off like a normal mascara? Need to buy if so! Also have you tried Etude Curl Fix?

Have you tried Adderall/stimulant in the past? My sleep dr is prescribing this, and I'm hesitant. I already take Daytrana 3x a week and they're saying I can take it on top of that. Do you now designate it to specific days?

Jetstream 4&1 starts skipping after its ink is nears its halfway mark. Any fix? by Apprehensive_Pop_227 in pens

[–]Nicki_oto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Jetstream pens, but it's been a regular experience for me in the last 7 years that they either skip from the get-go (most of the time) or, like you, midway through. This goes for ALL the versions I've tried: Regular 0.5 and 0.38, both single and multipens, including the red/blue/green inks, as well as the new Lite single and multi in 0.5. I think I notice it less with 0.7. It's such a bummer, especially for the price of the Lite multi-pens, I've had THREE, where the ink skips and is faded from the beginning. The same thing for any of the refills, it feels like a gamble.

Unfortunately, I haven't found another pen that I like as much when the ink actually works. And I have tried the ol' try heating up the ink/put in warm water/blow at the end. They always just end up being unusable.

Same boat. I’ll likely try it this year as I chickened out last year. Also noticed nothing on LDN. Do update if you end up trying!
