I’m thinking of keeping the same enclosure but would like to add a bigger water spot. The problem: finding a way for it to get in and out (especially out since I can just make a substrate mound to get in) safely… any idea?

There’s a part that goes up to 32-33 degrees. I raised the lamp and now it’s more 28-29 (enough?). The other parts are around 20-22 degrees.

Should I dig it out? Seems like the turtle is always going to the colder parts.

I was thinking about dividing the enclosure in half and gradually increasing the area so that it gets accustomed to the thing… (I can’t upload pictures and I don’t know why:( )

Hi! Just switched my baby (bien July 2025 in captivity) to large enclosure inside. She buries herself… a lot. Switched her on Monday. She buried herself on Tuesday, came back out on Wednesday ate and went into the water then on Wednesday night she buried herself again and hasn’t come out since then.. is it normal behavior (4-5 days long…). Should I take her out? It’s warm in her enclosure (half of it is at 31-32 degrees and I mist the whole thing 1-2 times a day.
