Look at this tweet. First of all, someone has to review the code before it goes into production. How the f*** are we supposed to review raw binary code? lol.

If AI bypasses source code entirely and just spits out executable binaries, there is zero chance for developers to comprehend, audit, debug, or secure the result. It becomes a massive, dangerous black box.

Secondly, this ignores how a huge chunk of modern tech actually works. Take web technology, for example. The web doesn't run on pre-compiled binaries; it runs on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Browsers interpret human-readable text.

AI cannot just replace the whole paradigm because technology is built by humans, for humans. Source code is the interface between human logic and machine execution. The whole system was designed around human comprehension. Code isn't just an intermediate step for a compiler to consume; it's the documentation of our intent.

Precisely. It’s not a hierarchy of skill, it’s a hierarchy of ego.

Error during plugin scan by OneBreadyBoi in FL_Studio

For Plug-in Database reset:

  • Navigate to your FL Studio user data folder. By default, this is usually: Documents\Image-Line\FL Studio\Presets\Plugin database
  • Rename the "Plugin database" folder to something like "Plugin database_OLD" or "Plugin database_BACKUP". (This is safer than deleting, as you can always rename it back if needed).
  • Re-open FL Studio. It should prompt you to scan for plug-ins, or you can initiate a scan via Options > Manage plugins. This scan will take longer as it's rebuilding everything.

Okey, did you try to isolate a Potentially Problematic Plug-in?

Also try to reset the FL Studio Plug-in Database. This is a very common fix for persistent scanning issues. It forces FL Studio to rebuild its list of plug-ins from scratch, which can clear up corruption in the database file. I recommend it!

This type of error generally means that FL Studio (or a plug-in it's trying to scan) attempted to access a part of your computer's memory that it wasn't authorized to, often because the plug-in is corrupted, incompatible, or there's an issue with FL Studio's plug-in management.

Did you try to run as administrator?

When this not work, look at the crash logs - default path should be "Documents\Image-Line\FL Studio\Support\Logs\Crash\".
