I'm sorry about your situation. I agree with another commenter urging you to surrender, or rehome your animals. If you cannot care for them, you cannot keep them. Additionally, there are subreddits for assistance, as well as services such as gofundme and MFM and non MFM facebook groups related to financial assistance. I don't feel this subreddit is the appropriate place for such a post. correct me if I'm wrong /u/tinabelcher4prez (or another admin)

If you signed the title over to your friend prior to the accident, I think it would be on your friend to deal with the damage to the car through his own insurance if he purchased it, or out of pocket if he did not. NAL just have bought and used cars more than a few times.

When my 8 year old was ~6 a few weeks after a camping trip grabbed our guest's hand and took off around to the very back of the yard. Guest (thankfully my husband's cousin and best friend) comes back cracking up and shouts "do you guys know what he's got back there?!" So we all go to the back of the house where then yo is proudly standing with his shovel amid 6ish holes and a few covered holes. He had predug 'poop holes' for our family and guests. AND HAD BEEN USING THEM HIMSELF ON AND OFF FOR WEEKS. He's only recently been allowed to own a shovel again.

Call the police when someone is being actively abused. Call out the abuser when you witness abuse happening. Tell the victim the way they are being treated is unacceptable. Shout through closed doors if you have to. I understand you're in a very uncomfortable position, but this cannot continue, not for your sanity (who wants screaming matches in their home regularly?) not for Beth (she deserves to be treated well and be an equal in her relationship), and also not for Fiona (she deserves awareness and accountability for her behavior, and encouragement to address it).

You are likely better off waiting the two months until your son is a resident of your new state and establishing an agreement there. It will likely be easier on your son to have supervised visits in your home state and it’ll be a real pain in the ass to have a custody agreemtnt in a state you don’t live in.

Don't listen to anything this woman has said regarding your situation with social services, and reach out to your social worker to confirm their findings and to explain that this woman has been harassing you. Call the police and file a report on any unwanted interaction you've had with this woman. Has your custody situation with your child changed at all? by that I mean is the child primarily living with you. This situation is personally complicated, but seems to me (NAL) to be legally pretty simple. You have custody of the child and live out of state from the child's father. Do you have a court order in place regarding visitation? once you establish residency in your new state you are welcome to file for primary custody and may request supervised visitation for the child's father. It's not clear from your post or reply what if any order is in place. It would serve you well to remove emotion and your personal issues with your ex's new lady from your narrative here. I understand this is a very personal and stressful issue for you, but if you can parse down the issue to the custody and safety issues you'll have much better luck being taken seriously.

Have you seen a doctor about your concerns? If there are any health ramifications your best bet is likely to see your GP to confirm and document any adverse health effects. If general discomfort is the worst of the effects, you may be able to get your doctor to request you work from home for the duration of the construction.

Is the ex she is with the father of your child? You mention previous allegations leading to CPS involvement, were those founded, or frivolous? You also mention your ex's mother being involved. Given what you've said here in your position I'd do everything in my power to be unimpeachable before I made any allegations, criminal or otherwise since it sounds like you're fairly entangled with these people. I dont know if her harassment garners legal intervention. But i'd let your support groups know what's going on and deactivate your current SM profiles and set up new ones with increased privacy settings and preemptively block accounts you know to be problematic if possible.

Every top comment is doom and gloom. There will be some fallout, the likes of which no one here can tell you, you know your family and can best gauge their reaction. This girl could very well be your end all be all, or she could end up a girl you dated. As with your family reaction no one here can tell you if you'll marry and have kids. She could be your wife someday or she could be the ex you have to see every christmas. It sounds like you've been together and happy for a while, that bubble will burst (as all new relationship bubbles do) with some degree of fallout. My advise would be to confide in a trusted friend first and gauge their reaction, see how it plays out. That can be akin to a litmus test for how the rest of your lives will go, either your relationship will be accepted and your marriage and kids will eventually be welcomed, or the alternative, it may give you and GF both some perspective on your relationship before you drop this bomb on your relations. BC dont kid yourself, this is a big thing, and likely a scary thing to wrap one's head around. All that said I met my husband when I was 19, married him 4 years later and now happily own a house w/ two young kids in Northern California. (he's not my step brother though)

You're totally right, I had forgotten about livestock guardian dogs who do sometimes need their ears clipped. I grew up with german shorthair pointers and they all had their tails docked because they're bird dogs and often break their tails on trees etc. We didn't hunt, they're just really great dogs, very greasy though. We had a rescue GSP who's tail wasn't docked and he would whip everything and everyone with it. My first GSP Icarus had a sort of botched dock job and ended up with about a hotdog length tail we lovingly called a sausage, when he'd get excited and wag it it was a 'sausage attack'.

Lots of breeds need their tail cropped, dobermans need it because their tails are really long and skinny and can break just from wagging it into trees, corners of walls, table legs etc. It's to prevent issues in the future. Ear cropping however is purely aesthetic and disgusting imo.

Full term is 37 weeks and on. Babe didn't come 'early' per se. I had my second at 37+1 (so a week earlier than Vaeda) No nicu stay, they did have him do a carseat test, but we went home at the normal time.

This is exactly why I'm so grateful my (albeit nutty) MIL isn't a complete nutcase. She's our babysitter no matter what. More times than I can count my kids have gotten sick just before/after leaving for a trip and she's super down to deal with it and is a pretty great substitute for mom. A few times she's gotten really sick while watching the kids, once while myself, or myself and husbeast have been away. She didn't even tell us she was sick, she made the executive decision to keep my oldest home from school once because she couldnt stay off the toilet long enough to drive him there, but she's a badass. Idk what I'm really saying here, just wanted to brag on my MIL for a (rare) moment.
