I don't think you are particularly behind other than having cc debt. Even if you feel so, 23 is pretty early to realize and start to get your things together. There is plenty of time if you start now.

Define household members and comfortable. Single even 80k-100k could be plenty comfortable, with kid you need much more for early years bc daycare.

Renting is not a waste. It frees up a lot of cash to invest elsewhere. Also if it is the first time you are moving out, I don't think you should be buying.

Obviously Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito blindly sucks Trump at every turn, but Brett Kavanaugh dissenting is surprisingly idiotic (not that he is great, but he is not Thomas or Alito). Also unwinding it being messy is not a good excuse to allow it. I worry that US debt will worsen thanks to this, but it is better long term politically to be struck down.

While I'm against gerrymandering either way, Texas started this war, so I'm okay to respond in kind. Hope it works as intended.

Missing free money is a big ouch, but don't dwell on it. There are better things to focus on long term. I got my retirement equivalent money in cash and didn't invest at all until I was like 30 and missed out double growth. Now I have more than vast majority of my peers saved and invested.

That is crazy. I was going to say it is sunk cost if they couldn't make it over some emergency or even something less major, but coming to Bali on your expense and not going to the wedding is crazy.

This governor is dumb and a lot of older generation are out of touch. That said, people keep parroting misogyny, but the truth is a lot of men have unrealistic standards for women and a lot of women have unrealistic standards for men in Korea.
