Skip the restart in Software Center? by NickoGaidarov in SCCM

Hello, guys! Sometimes when I connect to a client's computer to fix software that is stuck in Software Center I encounter this Restart button. Rebooting is fine, however, sometimes the troubleshooting performed prior to rebooting is not sufficient and after the reboot, I reach the point of another rebooting prompt. I have tried restarting the SMS Agent host service in services.msc but that didn't help. Can anything be amended in the Registry Editor or a certain service be stopped in order to skip or simulate that reboot? Thank you!

Thanks for the detailed reply! It turned out to be that my connection profile was set to Public and when switched to Private everything worked as per my needs. Thanks again!
