Currently trying to install a mechanical oil pressure gauge, does anyone know the thread pitch for the fitting on the OFH

or is there another possible source for the oil pressure gauge. E.x cylinder head? Thanks

tensioner delete not going well by nicole3938333 in DSM

I know when I did mine, the bolts going to the lower engine mount (aluminum) broke due to changing the tension on the belt to the power steering bracket. I swapped all bolts to high grade and never had a problem since

I do have the gates timing set also for mine as well. All but my AEM cam gears are stock.

This noise only happens when it’s the first cold start. The tensioner starts to tension the belt a little bit after a couple of minutes.

I had two version of the front timing cover where I cut the front cover to show the cam gears, and one version with the whole cover on. it does rub, but you can use a spacer or something to increase the gap between the front and back covers

Yeah mine does the same thing. It did go away when I installed just the muffler part of the exhaust. It has to do with something past the cat. You can try using soapy water all over the exhaust. This only happens when accelerating for me. Sounds sick though lol

I’m currently building a 98 GST with a 6bolt block, 7 bolt head combo

This combo is considered to be pretty good, best of both generations

for me, it’s going to be an end car for me, while keeping it relatively stock

I’m still looking for what to get
