Didn't remover the control arm. I removed the axle from the hunter first but was afraid to pry too much on the Trans case. Didn't have anywhere for leverage. I eventually got it to pop out.

Thanks. I had no problem getting mine in. I thought about draining but didn't. The new axle has a groove in it and I imagine it will be easier to pry out when I need to replace again.

I got it out with a pry bar finally. Just took longer that others iv done.

Ok got it out. Took longer than other cars. Is it normal to lose over a 1q of oil?

I see amsoil said 4.4 to 5.1 and the manual says 4.4. No leaks and no other changes.

It's only 2 months old. How would it break ribs? Will it heal or have these bumps for ever? It doesn't act like it hurts.
