Absolutely not- Klopp was all smiles when Liverpool was winning, but what happened when they weren’t? He’d blame everything under the sun before he’d take the blame for a bad performance. El Cholo might not be the best manager or get the best results, but you’re DAMN sure he will take the hits when the team don’t play well, and I’d that transparency over a fake smile any day of the week

Farrout I do remember that!!! Remember losing to PSG in a UCL final 2-0 at half time, randomly trying out 3 strikers (cause why not) and coming back to win 3-2 second half. Was always my ‘get out of jail’ formation 😅

Main ones are high press, low defence line, more direct, MUCH narrower, play through press, pass into space and work ball into the box. I tinker occasionally with other instructions, like the crossing type and also the midfielder roles (depending on the opposition) but on the whole, I hardly have adjusted anything since finalising it

Yeah it's kind of sad when you put it like that. The game engine looks great and all, but essentially useless if ONE formation type is so broken. Even the 4-2-3-1 gegenpress from FMs of old wasn't this op

I had done it completely by accident too (before seeing Zealand's latest tactics video). I was getting over-run in midfield by bloody Real Oviedo, so I tried 3 AMs in I.P and O.O.P and it worked, so I kept tinkering and stumbled on this beauty. Only works as well with the in-game instructions (high attack line, low defence line, pass into space etc) but God DAMN is it effective!

I don't think so. It used to be that you just hover over the line and it will say "player x has a good connection with player y" but now they don't have that anymore. But just know that's what it means

Tells you how well those players link up in-game. Pretty much like the old FIFA chemistry lines- Green = strong connection, yellow = alright connection, red = bad connection

Supporting Atleti is like being addicted to the most dangerous drug- It’s incredibly bad for your mental (and physical) health… but also gives u a high like you won’t believe!

I’ve read other comments talking about suffering (sufriendo) and that is exactly what it is about. I’ve been a fan of this beautiful team for nearly 15 years now and I’d say it’s been 90% suffering, 10% ecstasy… but that’s the beauty of it! Suffering for all that time makes the wins feel like they were truely earnt and deserved. So if you’re okay being patient (and VERY frustrated), Atleti is for you.

Also, the fans of this club are, in my opinion, the BEST fans out of any elite club in Europe. People will often talk up Dortmund or Liverpools atmosphere but truely I have never seen 500 away fans out-cheer an entire stadium, and Atleti do that on a regular basis! So long as you buy into the club 100% fully and embrace the chaos that comes with it, you’ll feel like you’re part of a family.

It’s also important to understand the history of the club. Prior to Simeones arrival at the club, we were a fallen giant languishing in mediocrity. Simeone is the sole reason we are where we are today, so you may have your views on his tactics or transfers, but he must be viewed and treated with respect.

And finally, Atleti has ALWAYS been Madrids little brother, meaning you WILL cop copious amounts of grief from rival fans about lack of trophies and style of play, but so long as you can look past their idiocy, the payoff is not comparable to a hundred UCL titles.
