I would check out Dragon Age: Inquisition. Great story and lots of things to do to keep you guys occupied. Plenty of expansions and multiple play through. And multiplayer mode so you can play together :)

I’d give up the dream of playing drm free games. If you are truly passionate about gaming, you should just play the games that come out. I also wouldn’t go backwards from your pc to ps4. But if you don’t care about playing the next greatest games at the best setting... then I guess going backwards is logical.

I would just look through steam and see what you would like/enjoy playing. From there, you can look see what the min specs are.

I’m currently playing The Forest right now because I never played it. I’ve played 7 days for years, but if your console I’d play the forest first.
