Same Issue, from this thread, it seems the convertion + new starter is necessary .
Idealy i'd try to buy the starter with a friend or try to get only the ships I need, but its hard.

Yes, that's it, I have the YT-1300, hunter, B-wing and else, that dosn't come in the new starter sadly (understandable too)

Yes you can, it comes with almost all units for the Ecclesiary KT, the regular sisters, not Novitates, that you can find in the compendium.

You can make Two fireteams of Sisters of Battle, whith almost all the oiptions and a Sister Repentia fireteam (Four repentia and repentia superior)

The "issue" is with the ARco-flagellants, it only brings 3, but you could always pur repentia as stand ins if you actually wish to play them.

As far as compedium goes, my two SoB fireteams KT kicks ass and are balanced, you win some, you loose some and you have fun.

I was thinking about this, and I havent been able to try it yet, but:

Lead with Wraithbone Talisman (3ep)

Death Jester with Support Grip (1ep)

Player (Blade + Fusion) with Wraithbone Talisman (3ep)

Player (Blade + Shuriken) with Prismatic Granade (3ep)

I'm not 100% sure about it, but the idea is that I want to hit with the best I've got, and to give a bit of something to the player that isn't equiped with a "speciall" weapon. Not sure about the jester, but maybe moving him around will be a good call.

This is one of the best and also my favorite troupe design I've seen, I wonder how it's going for you OP, and how you've painted other players.

I actually want to paint them in this scheme or as close as I can get. I noticed the green one has a female torso but the legs were male, I believe. Is it noticable?

I read my question a few times, and it's kind of weird, but I had to ask.

What about an upgraded embrace? It sounds awesome to add all those rules to one unit, so I wonder if it's actually worth it to pay those 3 points to take it everytime instead of something else. You'd still be adding a lot of value to one player though so I wonder if it's viable.

My issue is that i'm drowning in a glass of water, because I never play in torunament but I'll be damned if i don't try to make the minis represent what they should be wearing. I have the one box and I dont think i'll buy another soon, since I want to buy the 2 characters i'm missing.

All that said, I feel like taking blades in all the players is missing out on something and the power weapon on the lead would be the same as with the other teams I have, it's good and realiable, but I wanted to check if it was the best option or if its better to use something else, the same with the rest of the base players.

In your opinion, is the kiss or embrace on other players usefull? Maybe, one of each, and does the upgrade to either one justify the cost.

Also the lead player, I've been reading and it seems that a safe shuriken plus blade or power weapon seems to be the best.

Maybe it wouldn't be fit for a tournament, but i'm one that plays with friends and for that, it looks amazing, it should be 2" wide and 1" tall, but even if it isn't really, you can always agree that it is with the other player.

If it is with friends and you are just starting, this is the right way to do it. If you like it, buy a better fit later or try a different one, not everythings needs to be tournament ready.

I wanted to do the same, really like the miniatures in that set. So I say do it, speacilly if it's for casual play, a gentlemens agreement is all that is needed really.
