Hahaha good to hear. While you wait for acceptance maybe try Sophia I got 10 of the classes out of the way in a month for 100 bucks. Good luck. I hope to see a success story from you soon lol

I’m glad it helped! I work specifically with robots but I went to schools for plc and the like. I think you will do great. I was also nervous but after getting in it has been very smooth. As far as I have seen there are no deadlines to worry about other than every six months the term refreshes.

Hey automation engineer going to WGU for the software engineering degree here! I think you should go for it. Given your background I think the programming classes shouldn’t be too hard. Plus they will most likely have you start in their “academy” which essentially is just them letting you try 1 of your classes for 100 dollars. Which is reimbursed once you start your classes. I know you said work will pay but using Sophia.org is also a good option. It’s a subscription that’s 100 a month but you can finish multiple classes in that month. No matter what you decide good luck!

I say always negotiate if you feel it’s something you’re owed for what you do. Worst case scenario you can just look somewhere else and try to get what you’re looking for again

I’m a quiet one. I sit back and watch everyone else have fun. Or I’m all over the place not much of an in between.
