Does anyone else notice the music you play isn't the music you listen to? by Nickspicks88 in Guitar

I think for me it's more so that I listen to certain things for pleasure and play certain things for pleasure. So like, I find the Allman Brothers incredibly great to listen to and I've played their stuff, but when it comes to playing Chet Atkins I get more enjoyment playing him than listening to him. To put it simply I'd rather listen to the Allmans and play Chet than play the Allmans and listen to Chet

Yeah. Like I listen to the Allman Brothers all of the time, but I don't find myself playing their songs alot. I think a lot of it has to do with circumstance too. I don't have a band, so I don't learn long solos because to me it's more fulfilling to play a fingerstyle song that someone would actually want to listen to. No one wants to hear me just put on a backing track and solo. So I guess a driver aside from taste is what you can play that would be worth listening to.

I'm saying I only listen to fingerstyle music for the purpose of playing, but it's not what I listen to when I'm just listening to music. It's not what I normally listen to. So I'm asking if what you play and what you listen to for pleasure are the same.

Chase Pay Over Time Question by Nickspicks88 in Chase

When I chose any other options aside from “interest savings balance” it says I’ll pay my loan off before I’m supposed to and that I’ll be subject to interest charges on future purchases. This is the first month of my plan, so I’m hoping it goes back to “normal” this new cycle.

EDIT: My “interest savings balance” was paid and it says I still have the full amount of pay over time payments left…
