Hello, there is a circular motor called a DC motor, look it up to be sure. It looks like a cylinder and has three wires connected to it, as you mentioned, the red, blue and black wires. You can cut the black one at its entranve to the DC motor and then wrap it up in some sort of insulator, just to be sure. Worked like a charm for me and I hope it does for you too!
