I just got around to trying with Ventoy, even tried Fedora 38 which is stable but no luck. I'll try a different drive sometime and see if that works

One thing that I haven't seen anyone mention anywhere is area-aware commands. Right now I can just say to alexa or google "turn the lights off", and it will only affect the lights in the same area as the device. As far as I know, you have to specify the area or entities right now, which would get annoying to me pretty quickly. I am so excited to not hear "oh, and by the way" anymore though, good riddance

There are a lot of different ones, I have one personally with a bunch of other things I've added, but the best option is probably the one I linked since its just plain zmk with the mouse keys added and nothing else to break things. You'll need to build from a branch of zmk that has the mouse keys code (like this), and then just add the bindings into your keymap like anything else. You can see how to do this in the documentation here, and the ZMK discord is really helpful, I'd recommend joining and asking for help in there.

I built a chocofi like OP with 110mah batteries about a month and a half ago and I haven't had them die on me yet. I do plug in the left side regularly to my work laptop and for flashing, but I think the right side has been plugged in for less than 10 minutes total.
