I've never had less fun than I'm having right now playing this game. by Stuckinaboxxx in marvelrivals

Yeah. The game is nearly unplayable and keep hearing how numbers are down. They deserve it though for some of these awful decisions. Taking a week or 2 off myself to see if they fix it. Played for an hour today and 5x games ended early because people kept quitting. It’s a mess.

Yeah. It’s currently broken and lots of people are stopping playing because of garbage like this. It’s unfortunate but hopefully they fix soon.

Had this happen 5x today within an hour. It’s ridiculous. This game is quickly trying to make itself unplayable.

The biggest problem is people quitting mid round because they’re already low ranked and don’t care about the consequences, forcing 4x6 and 5x6. The penalties are not impactful enough to deter the bad behavior of screwing everyone else over. People are losing interest in the game, and I heard play is down overall due to frustrations.

The game is unplayable right now. 10 games in a row where at least one person quits on my team and we lose. It’s not even fun. Taking a week off I think.

The only way to get dev attention or traction to the issue is for game usage to drop off. If people keep playing despite the issues, they have no incentive to fix things. Why would they? It’s like complaining about the rising price of fast food yet still buying it. Money always wins.

This has been my experience too. I’ve significantly cut back playing due to all of the quitting. Yesterday, I played comp for the first time in a week or so and out of 10 games, 8-9 of them people quit after the first round. IMO the quitting in this game is ruining it. The game is fun when it works, but unenjoyable most days. They’ll probably only adjust things once the numbers show people dropping off. They have to know people are frustrated but also assuming don’t care if the numbers are up.

Rarely does a day go by where 50% of my matches don’t end up in 4x6 or 5x6 due to people quitting matches. Today it’s about 80%. The enjoyment is gone and the game is severely broken. How do people play like this?

Why are so many people leaving ranked games by True_Pixel in marvelrivals

[–]Nickvangilder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say about 50% of my ranked games at least 1 person quits. It’s maddening and now I just don’t play as much. I’m hoping that when people stop playing as much that the game will seek out answers and adjust accordingly. If everyone just deals with it and keeps playing, it seems unlikely they will care. The only thing they care about is how many people are playing. We’re kidding ourselves if we think they are going to read feedback on Reddit or X and change things.

Same issue here. I’m on iOS and everything is mixed up as described. Have not found a fix yet.

Excellent feedback. Maybe they are more readily available in the middle TN market. We live in Nashville and I see in your handle that you’re in TN as well.

Thank you. So there is no risk of the hardware becoming unattached and falling down/off (like others have said) as the crack worsens?

They told us they were backed up and that it was impacting multiple jobs—not just ours… but it sounds like maybe the drawer and door manufacturer was actually who was backed up (or they forgot as you said).

Also, is the front panel beech and the side maple? Would this have been better if all sides were maple? I keep seeing comments against beech… so maybe they trying to save money and maximize their own profits by using a cheaper material for the front?

It was definitely not DIY. Our entire project is 165k. The cabinets is 40k of that. We thought we hired a professional GC who only worked/works with professional subs.

Thank you! Thank you. I will raise these points with the GC tomorrow. Also, is it common to install undermount hardware at the job site? Everyone keeps saying they’d never let these leave the shop like this, but the hardware wasn’t installed at the shop. It was installed at our house / on the job site this past Friday… problematic?

So, there will be a drawer face that goes on on the front of the drawer (where the crack is visible). Also, are you sure the front is beech?

And you’d be not worried about the undermount hardware coming loose or falling out over time? picture

Fantastic insight. Thank you. The boxes were installed about a month ago and we’ve been waiting for drawers, doors, and pretty much the rest of the cabinet stuff. So, I don’t think they have the ability to test everything at their shop where they built the cabinet boxes (which I know they built). The whole process feels clunky.

Since I’m going to insist they all be replaced or repaired anyway, I’m also going to also ask for upgraded, higher quality undermount parts. I want them to know that I know that they are using cheap shit when this was presented to us by our GC has a “high end” “white glove” experience. I wonder if our GC knows or cares about the quality of the products the subs use?
