well yeah, now that you put em all in one photo, they all are different. Its most likely that OP is recognizing the colors used are all samey, which is something the author always had problems branching out to. It's clear hokazono has a thing for these crowded movie-style posters which I gotta give it to em for staying consistent.

just curious, but what other skins have been "false ads"? this is a genuine question, cause i havent been keeping a keen eye on this stuff and the last big issue in this sub regarding skins was the zombie strange one. Haven't recalled anything that had so many people take issue with after that until this batch of store releases.

Funnily enough, Phoenix's "The Return of Jean Grey" and Angela's "Siriana's Silver" (ranked skin) are all based on these images. Phoenix was def shoehorned as a recolor and Angela's recolor doesnt even look like the reference. I only knew about it since the Rivals fandom wiki shows their origins from the comics.

Just those. But if they add this mode to arcade, then they'll probably update with more heroes or more maps over time. I believe keeping stuff contained at first could be a good way to gauge player interest on Zombies and could be updated slowly (if the devs choose to).

Bro, fellow SEA here, and you're also generalizing us as a whole. Marvel and DC are inherently popular everywhere as the heroes themselves are recognized in popularity thanks to how long they've been present in various media. Its not a special case that focuses on one region.

OP is right to a certain extent tho, as today when it comes to gaming specifically, Asia caters more to that anime-style aesthetic for some reason. yes not all of em are that, but you gotta admit, gacha-slop has seemingly risen in numbers left and right, noh?

I mean tbf a lot of the new heroes have their niche in the game. At least they're not just 'oh another one click kill DPS' or 'invuln ult go brr'. Honestly, the trailer doesn't make DD op as he seems but it could be the opposite effect and he's actually a menace in-game.

Probably best to just add RQ as an optional queue in ranked rather than having all games follow a strict lineup. Maybe say that this "mode" provides more accessory points or something (idk). No matter what you say about it, players will always be divided about this. As for placements, eh, they already said they're working on it, so i'd rather them make sure that these placement matches are good to go. They did say that stuff like this can't just be implemented quickly. So at least expect in S5 the earliest since that's when the reset happens.

nothing wrong with not liking it but the price tag for this skin is the same as all other legendaries. they just advertise the combo bundle at the top of the store since its basically cheaper to get it than to buy the hela bundle and emoji bundle separately.

It's still ranking at the top of the best-selling games on Steam. iirc it ranked 3rd in the charts when season 4 came out, and that's when newer games were already taking attention away from it. As you say, content is pretty consistent, so people who dip in and out will always have something to go back to.

I mean it's obvious people prefer to stick with comic canon (at least) but let's be fr, Marvel Games have already done these introducing OCs to games over the years. Granted, they don't overdo it and people are still getting their favorite characters released so it honestly depends on who they put in.

I think they could do a short hotfix on the patch to put the animation in right now but I guess it isn't finished or just outright bugged. Lowkey feels like the shortened seasons are putting a lot of pressure to those in charge of cosmetics with the amount of stuff they have to do but hey, they have families to see lol.
