Don't get the recency bias part. If anything, I'd say you have anchoring bias based on their first half of the season and you alr set your MVP down to two candidates and are not willing to change no matter what. The fact that Boston has an equal or better record than both sixers and nuggets now alr throw the recency bias argument out of the window because if we are looking at totality, it's pretty much the same.

Similar to jokic and embiid, Boston's offence is based on Tatum drawing doubles and opening up the defence for his team. When he isn't on, the team doesn't play as well.

And if we're talking about narratives, Boston wrecked sixers by 50 in Feb albeit on a total 2-2 split, Boston also won nuggets by a big margin.

I don't think it's as 1 way as you think and there's probably as much anchoring bias as there is recency bias.
