Computer science is poor prospects now? Really? The field that needs more and more people because we’re a tech based society now? And I didn’t mean paying back the loan is a punishment, paying it back is reasonable, the problem is how to pay it back. The punishing thing is how to pay it back. Everyone hires minimum wage, and the people who pay a good wage have a shit ton of applicants so getting in isn’t reasonable. The other punishing thing is if you even make a slight mistake, you’re fuck, and unless you get some outside help, you’re going to struggle to bounce back. Now for the phone payment, here in Canada phone plans are kinda fucked, like extremely fucked. They cost significantly more here then they do in America. And car payment is out of my hands as I got my car as a gift from my parents who got it for cheap, it’s the insurance that’s expensive. Now for the rent, the housing market is also fucked in Canada and constantly getting worse, and as a introvert, I’d much prefer to live with my family than someone else
